Hyunwoo

"You...You weren't sleeping," I asked with an astonished look on my face.

"Mmm, yes and no. I was asleep when we were on the coach but I woke up when you picked me up to carry me to my bed," he smiles slightly after hiding half of his face in his pillow. Faint blush dusts his chubby cheeks.

"Wha-," I began to say but couldn't find the right words. He pats the empty side of the bed and looks at me. "You want-," I trailed off when he nods. I slowly went over to the other side of the bed and laid down.

He turns onto his right side and says, "I was planning on letting you do things at your own pace but I just couldn't. Sorry...Hyungwon had told me to be more slow paced because it would scare you away if I didn't..." He pauses, brings the blanket up to cover his mouth, peers up at me without moving his head, and then shyly asks, "Am I being too forward?"

"I- No. I mean yes. I mean... Fuck. What I am trying to say is that I was not expecting this. I am not scared," I replied. He nods thoughtfully before he chuckles.

"You know that you can be honest with me. I don't really mind taking things slow. I know that not everyone is that forward," he says.

"It's okay seriously. I just am usually a shy person so I got thrown off when you...you know," I stammered.

"Ah~, I see. I guess it was kinda...for lack of better words...sudden. Hmm, silly me," he says with mirth in his voice.

"What? No...," I started to say before going into a full blown monologue. By the time I finished, I found that Kihyun had fallen asleep somewhere in between. Soft snores escape his lips. His eyes move ever so slightly behind his eyelids. His chest moved up and down with each breath. I sighed and chastised myself for being so awkward in my mind.

I sat up and pulled the blanket out from under me before covering Kihyun with my half of the blanket. Then, I laid back down on my left side and looked at him affectionately. I was not put off by his straightforwardness. Rather, I was impressed as I wouldn't be able to be as forward as he was earlier. I now understand the phrase "Opposites attract."

I reached out with my right hand and cupped his cheek before whispering, "Good night, Kihyun ah."
