Ch. 35: Signature

A/N: Sorry for the delay. This quarter seems like it is going to be the busiest one yet. I will update when I can.

~at the scene of the crime~

Yellow caution tape wrapped around the surrounding plants warning people to not trespass and disturb the crime scene. Kihyun does not bother to lift up the tape and just went under it, which allowed for me to get a good look of his ass...not that I was looking. I lifted it up and went under it before letting it go. 

Near the center of the weird shape that an officer made with the caution tape, there were multiple yellow tags with numbers on them. Kihyun opens the folder that he is holding, and looks at a tag before looking back at the papers in it. I scanned the surrounding area to see if there is anything that the forensic investigators and officers didn't discover when the victim was discovered. 

"This area is in the Diamond Backs' territory. It seems like the suspect wanted to send a message to the others...That means the victim pissed someone off," Kihyun says.

"Yes, but who?"

"I have a feeling that I know who it was..."

"You do?"

"Yes...," he says and walks over to a bush that was approximately three feet away. He reaches into the bush and pulls out a deep wine colored rose.

"A rose? I didn't know that you know how to do magic," I said in a joking manner.

"Don't be daft. It is his signature...the right hand man of the Silver Roses. This type of rose is non-native to South Korea. So, not many people have it as it costs a lot to transport it here without them going bad," he says as he twirls the wilting rose in his hand. "I have been following them for a while now. So, trust me when I say that he left it here," he continues to say.
