Kihyun

~a few years later~

The butterflies in my stomach are seriously no joke. I never had been one to be nervous but today is different. Today...I'm getting married to the love of my life. I nervously looked into the mirror and toyed with the ends of my black velvet tie. "Get a hold of yourself, Yoo Kihyun. It's no big deal. It's just your wedding," I told my reflection.

"Kihyun," someone shouts. I turned around to see my uncle.

"Is something wrong," I asked.

"Didn't you hear me calling out to you," he asks as he came closer.

"No, I was lost in thought," I said as I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Let's go. It's almost time," he says as he gestures to the door.

"Right," I laughed awkwardly before following him to the hallway where the groomsmen, groomswomen, and flower girl were waiting. They all looked at me with smiles as my uncle and I approached. "Is it normal to be so anxious," I asked as the others started to enter the wedding hall.

"It is. When I married your aunt, I was so nervous but I was so excited too," my uncle smiles brightly.

"Oh..."

"Ready," he asks with an eager look in his eyes.

"Yeah," I answered before walking with him down the aisle. The guests all stand up and cheered for me. I smiled politely to them as I got closer and closer to Hyunwoo. He is standing at the altar with the others and the father. He looked absolutely stunning in his obsidian black suit. His bangs are slicked back slightly. But, most importantly, the smile he gave me made me feel less anxious.

"Please take care of him," my uncle tells Hyunwoo when he moves my hand into Hyunwoo's.

"I will," Hyunwoo says before my uncle went to join my aunt and Hyunwoo's parents. I then stepped up a step so that I was standing on the altar properly. I must have been shaking a bit as Hyunwoo squeezed my hands in a comforting way as we looked into each other's eyes.

"We gather here to unite these two people in marriage. Their decision to marry has not been entered into lightly. Today, they declare their devotion to each other. The essence of marriage is the acceptance of each other, as lover, companion, and friend. A good and balanced relationship is one in which neither person is overpowered nor absorbed by the other, one in which both give their love freely and without jealousy. Marriage is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes, and dreams. It takes some effort to grow together, survive hard times, and be loving and unselfish. Do you both pledge to share your lives openly with one another, and to speak the truth in love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly care for one another, cherish and encourage each other, stand together, through sorrows and joys, hardships and triumphs for all the days of your lives," the father asks.

"We do," we both said at the same time with a smile gracing our lips.

"If any one opposes this holy matrimony, please speak now or forever hold your peace," the father says. I curiously looked at the crowd to see if anyone would actually do it. In the distance, I saw Hoseok standing against the wall. When he realized that I saw him, he smiles at me and waves. "You may now exchange your vows," the father continues to say when no one said anything.

"Kihyun...you're my every dream come true, and I can't wait to see the future that lies ahead for us. I pledge to honor you, love you and cherish you as my husband from today on. I promise to be your guiding light in the darkness, a warming comfort in the cold, and shoulder to lean on when life is too much to bare on your own. Your love gives me hope. Your smile gives me joy. You make me a better man," Hyunwoo says while looking at me lovingly. Tears of joy threaten to escape my eyes I listened to him.

"Hyunwoo, you make me laugh, you make me think, and above all, you make me happy. When I am with you everything else fades to the background. You flood my senses with joy. I'm so lucky to call you my loving husband. My life is forever entangled with yours from this day on. My dreams are your dreams, and your dreams are my dreams. Forever with you simply will not be enough, but from this day forward, I vow to make the most of every moment," I said while looking at him affectionately.

"May these rings be blessed as a symbol of your union. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you not only be reminded of this moment, but also of the vows you have made and the strength of your commitment to each other," the father says. Jooheon hands Hyunwoo a gold ring before stepping back. Hyunwoo then takes the ring with his right hand and took hold of my left hand before slipping the ring onto my ring finger.

Then, Hyungwon, who was standing behind me, reached around me and hands me a gold ring before resuming his position. I grabbed Hyunwoo's left hand and slipped on the ring onto his ring finger before we went back to holding both of each other's hands.

"You may now kiss the groom," the father says. Hyunwoo pulls me closer and kisses me. As I returned his kiss with equal if not more passion, the crowd erupts into cheers, hollers, and whistles. When we parted, Hyunwoo whispers with that smile I know and love, "I love you."

"I love you too," I replied with a smile of my own.
