Meredith really gets it good at night. Like all the time. Cassie is still maintaining her 3 AM pre-rounds pre-rounds, unfortunately with Alex, but that's not the point. She left the house around 2:30 and god, she's having some major sex. Like, she's a heavy sleeper, not natural, but again that's not the point, and she's is just getting the goodies, like Jesus. When she reaches the hospital, Alex isn't there, which she's thankful for. She does her business, charts and all that, and soon enough it's 6 o'clock. She walks down to the lobby where she spots, her people and Alex. She's not sure why she refers to them as her people, and she doesn't even know them that well, but, well, they just are. Plus, Seattle is far from her family in New York, and her favorite person in the world is much farther, wherever he is.

"Why are you always here so early?" Izzie asks her.

"Just trying to be on top of my game. Better chance at scrubbing in if you're the only one here." Cassie explains to her.

"Interesting," Izzie says thinking about doing it too. Cassie knows she is and stops her before she even gets a chance to steal it.

She walks up with them to the locker room and sits on one of the benches as they get ready. "I need a major rush to make it through this day," George complains. "I need a kick-ass surgery."

Alex, of course, feeling the need to retort, "Ooh, you a bad boy last night, George?"

"That would be Meredith." Izzie corrects.

"Yeah, I heard her when leaving the house," Cassie tells them. Alex then goes over talking about Meredith's bad boy last night attitude and her sex life, which she really doesn't want to talk about.

They then a walk to join Bailey and she gets stuck with Cristina and Alex (always) in the clinic. She still is wondering why she's always stuck with him, but at least she's got Cristina to keep her sane or make her go more insane. She just realized that one.

"We got a gunshot wound. We got to get him down to the pit." Alex yells at her and Cristina who grabs a wheelchair for Mr.Digby to sit in. Mr. Digby then tells them that this isn't an emergency and that he scheduled the gunshot because...he likes the scars? She's not sure whether he's a complete idiot or just the type of person that likes to stare down the barrel of a gun and face death. She gets that type. She knows that type, it was her father for half her life before he got an honorable discharge from the Army after he requested one. Now, his an accountant, so living on the edge doesn't seem to be his way anymore, but that's beside the point. Yeah, Mr. Digby is a badass, a crazy one, but a badass nonetheless.

After they get him down to the pit and Mr. Digby is saying how getting shot is his art or whatever which is, in Cristina's words, "Damn stupid." The bullet had gone all the way through his arm and bounced off his ribs. Yeah, that's pretty stupid. Mr. Digby then says something about why he wouldn't go one step further or something like that.
