wishin' and hopin'
"Welcome to the Denny Duquette Memorial Clinic." Bailey walked towards them and greeted the four out of the six interns that were there. Who knows where Meredith and George were? "Barring any surgical emergencies, you will be working here today."
The group looked around at the empty beds surrounding them. "Working on what?" Cristina asked her.
Bailey looked up from the clipboard she held in her hands, "Right now, Olivia will be familiarizing you with the protocol for the flu vaccine."
Alex and Cassie both poked around on the shelf with nothing better to do. Alex picked up a packet, Cassie standing up on her tippy toes to read the print on it. Izzie turned around, noticing the two, "Oh, no, no, no. Don't—don't touch that." He placed it back, holding his hands up in fake surrender. "That was $79."
The perky blonde turned back around as Cristina complained, "Oh my god. I have got to get out of here." It's rare for Cassie to agree with Cristina this heavily, but she could be doing much better things right now. "Burke has a bloodless Pulmonary Valve Translocation flying in from Denver tomorrow. I should be preparing." She then turned back around.
"You don't get to scrub in on the valve translocation," Alex told her.
Cristina turned back around, "How do you know?"
"Because I am." He stated.
She gasped, "He picked you."
Olivia then interrupted them for the "reminder" on the flu shot. It wasn't really much until George stumbled his way through the door with Callie in tow. "O'Malley," Bailey addressed, "welcome back. You're late." George stood still in front of Bailey with Callie by his side, until the Chief asked if he was okay.
"We got married in Vegas!" He announced turning everyone's head in the direction of the newlyweds. George took Callie's hand in his as he cheered, "We're married!"
Everyone just stared in awe. Cassie stood by Alex's side as he began to laugh, "Dude, she's Callie O'Malley." Cassie broke into a chuckle at his comment.

Cassie and Alex were ordered by Bailey to find patients, any patients. They walked around the hallway, heading towards the waiting room. "You know since Callie and George got married in Vegas. Maybe we could get married?" She slipped her hands in her white coat's pockets.
"What?" He stopped in his tracks.
Cassie turned around and lifted up her hands while they were still in the pockets, "I'm kidding. You won't even say I love you to me, you think I wanna marry you." She laughed at his expression. "Are we going to go find some patients or...?"

"So, she has toxic blood?" Cassie questioned to Alex. She sat on the edge of his bed in the Clinic.
Alex took a breath in the oxygen mask. "That's what O'Malley says." He leaned back onto the bed, sighing and began chuckling, "Callie O'Malley."
She joined in on the laughter, "Wow, Callie O'Malley. Do you think she actually changed it?"
"I hope so," Alex told her as he placed the oxygen mask at his side.
Cassie's blonde hair falling in front of her face as she managed out, "Me too."
