Cassie is not saying anything about Izzie. I mean, obviously, there is the Denny reasons she's not saying anything, but also Izzie is making muffins. Like more than necessary to open a bakery. So, she's pretty much set to have breakfast for the next year if she keeps up this way.

There's also the Alex thing and though they haven't done anything sexual like at all, they talk every night. He swings by the house on his way home sometimes, but it's mostly just at Joe's like they used to do. Now though, it's different. She's not sure what about it is, okay, well she knows it's the whole romance thing they sort of have blooming, but she's not really sure if she should think that. Though, she's gonna ask him. She's not going to be that scared ped patient. There she goes again think she's a ped patient which makes her the scared peds patient. It's just a downward spiral.

While on rounds, she pretty much faces her favorite patient ever. She enjoys the bluntness of him, severe bluntness. Benjamin O'Leary and though his brain tumor is probably the reason why due it heavily affecting his impulse control. "It makes me say everything I think," he explained to Dr. Shepherd, "which is apparently annoying. This doctor looks annoyed, anyway." Nodding towards Cristina, "Although, it's hard to tell 'cause she always has kind of a pinched uptight look on her face." This, of course, causes everyone (except Bailey) to snicker. "Am I annoying you?"

"It's fine," Cristina replied.

His sister, Ruth, corrected her, "You can't say it's fine. He doesn't perceive sarcasm or irony."

"Well, there goes my vocabulary," Cassie muttered to Alex. She can't even really see anything due to the fact she's standing behind George, or George is standing in front of her.

"Mine too." He muttered back. During this quick exchange, Cristina bickered with the patient, which isn't something all too shocking.

Dr. Shepherd also made the mistake of asking if Benjamin had any questions. "Is that blond your girlfriend? 'Cause the way you keep looking at her, you might as well just mount her right here and now." Alex and Cassie quietly laughed in the back with one another and laughed their way out of the room.

Once they exited the room, Bailey went into a whole speech, "I'm proud of you all. You make me proud. You reflect on me well." Yeah, that LVAD thing, uh, never heard of it. "Grey, if you think you can keep your clothes on long enough to follow up the labs," Bailey was really pulling out the humor, "I'd appreciate it. Karev, cover the pit."

He questioned, of course, "Wait, the pit? I'm—I'm off gynie?" Something it seemed like he'd been on for months now.

"Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd is out sick," Bailey explained, "You can cover the pit, or you can..." she paused staring at something behind the group of interns, "You can tell me whose damn panties are on the bulletin board!" A pair of black panties were pinned to the bulletin board under a "LOST AND FOUND" sign. Alex and Cassie turned away in fits of giggles, like two schoolgirls. "This is a hospital, people. Serious work happens here people. We save lives he—" She caught wind of Alex and Cassie and pretty much everyone else's laughter, "Oh, something funny? Whose are these?" Cassie began snorting due to the amount of humor in this scene. She walked back to her group of interns, "Yeah, I know it's one of you. It's always one of mine. Always. So tell me, which one of you left your draws on my surgical floor!"

"It was Alex." Cassie joked.

Obviously, it wasn't the best timing, but it seems Callie saved her and Meredith too because she does laundry in their house, she knows they're Meredith's. "Oh, no. Did I leave my underwear lying around again?" She walked up to the board and unpinned them.

Anyway, Bailey and her interns pass there way through rounds when Bailey then goes into a lecture about regretting to set them loose in this hospital for the first time since the cutting of the LVAD wire. "Nazi's back," Alex noted.

"You can say that again," Cassie replied. They walked towards the elevator.

The elevator doors ding, opening. "How's Izzie?" He asked.

"Muffin making. Constant muffin making." She answered. "Not that I'm complaining it smells like muffins all the time and I have breakfast for the next year."

"Well, hit me up with that," Alex told her. She nodded as the doors open again and she waved exiting. "See ya."

Later on, that night while at Joe's, she woman-up and confronted Alex. Of course, she had probably kicked back a few drinks by that point which made her feel like the most confident woman ever. "So, you, uh, are we anything? I mean, romantically?" She then burped because she can't control herself at all.

"I mean, sure," Alex answered taking a swig of his beer.

Cassie raised her eyebrows, "Sure."

"Yeah."

"Okay."

"You wanna go have sex in the bathroom now?" He joked with her.

"No," she dragged out, "but maybe at my house, though." She headed towards the door, already hearing Alex follow her out. By the time they reached outside Cassie had realized her candidness—which she wasn't really complaining about—and the fact that they two hadn't even kissed. She was about to bring it up, but it seemed Alex had read her mind when his lips found his way to hers, slowly deepening the kiss before pulling away. "Okay." She patted his chest before walking away. She turned back around, "Are you not coming?"

Cassie and Alex walked through the front door, correction: Cassie and Alex busted through the front door due to the heavy making out they were doing. Cassie pulled away realizing first, how hard it would be to make out walking upstairs and that challenge and second, the people standing in the threshold of the kitchen.

"Dr. Bailey, what are you doing here?" Cassie asked drunkenly. Their heads whipped around the face Cassie's arm wrapped around Alex's neck. Callie, George and Meredith's presence there too. It was silence for a few seconds. "Okay, bye." She waved goodbye to the group running up the stairs to her bedroom, Alex in tow.
