where the boys are

Cassie sat still on the edge of Alex's bed. "So, let me get this straight."

"What's there to get straight?" He asked as he placed his clothes into a suitcase.

Cassie put her hands up to stop him, "Just—just let me say this. You're going camping with George O'Malley."

He stopped in front of her, "Not just O'Malley." He turned back to packing his stuff up.

"Okay, like I know Joe and Walter will be there, but you there with George, the Chief, and Derek. Burke too." Cassie talked with her hands. She stood up and walked towards him. "Look, like I know you like Joe and Walter and—"

Alex interjected, "What are you saying? You like Joe and Walter and you're O'Malley's best friend." He zipped up his bag.

Cassie stood puzzled, "But he's not your best friend. You can't stand him."

He pecked her lips.

"Whatever. Bye."

"Oh, shut up."

Cassie's just minding her day. She's supposed to be with Shepherd, but Derek's in the woods, so she's just in the ER for the day. The day is slow and quiet, that probably has something to do with the fact that the only guy that's here is Dr. Sloan.

She then gets a call. From George? She figured that there would be no service in the middle of the forest.

"Your boyfriend is a jerk!" The phone yelled. Ever since George found Alex's Iowa State sweatshirt in the dryer he's know and Cassie figures who's better to know than him.

She smiled, "You've just realized that." She changed her tone, "What's up? And how are you even calling me? Aren't you in the woods."

"We're about to leave." He informed her, "I can't sit in a car with him for 3 hours." He complained.

She rounded a corner into the locker room, "Man up, Georgie."

"You too." She could hear his eyes roll, "Break up with him, break up with him right now."

She nodded, "Okay, bye." She hung up, opened her locker and prepared to head home.

"How was it?" Cassie asked him while the sat side by side at the bar.

He chugged the rest of his beer, finishing it off. "Me and O'Malley had a slap fight and made Walter have to get stitches."

Cassie jaw dropped, "You made Walter have to get stitches." Her eyebrows furrowed, "And wait, you had a slap fight?" She sipped her beer.

"The Chief."
