~Chandelier's pov

Funny thing to say but I had quite a nice time shopping with Cindy and her two best friends today. No I'm not a shopping freak but I gotta say it was kinda fun being around people who have a whole different fantasy, so different from mine that it became interesting learning about their Princess world. I know I could never be one of the cliché girls, but well, the day spent with them wasn't a total waste, I mean I got to watch the Bella twins squeal and whine over every little thing which I thought was annoying at first. Well, it was annoying to be honest.

Cindy pulled over her car in our driveway and turned the ignition off. Three pair of eyes turned my direction, staring at me as I didn't make any move since we had arrive at my house. The piercing eyes caused me to snap out of my daze, I quickly grab the bags which contained the clothing I got from the shopping mall. Yes, I said bags! Cindy picked more dresses and shoes, and a Birkin bag for me in addition to the ones I picked myself.

So yeah, I had four shopping bags.

After packing all my belongings I turn to Cindy and thanked her for the ride and for the things she got for me from the mall. She smiled sweetly at me. "C'mon girl, that was nothing." Cindy waved dismissively.

"Make sure you look like a princess tonight" Christabella teased.

"Will do" I giggled as I hopped out of the car.

"Bye." I waved at them as Cindy pulled out of our driveway. They waved back and drove off. I walked briskly to our front door, I barely raised my hand to press the doorbell when the door flew open, startling me on the spot.

"Mom?! You startled me" I said clenching my right hand on my chest.

"Sweetheart!" Mom shot a smile at me. "Who are those girls? Was Selene there?"

"Mom, Selene was not among them. Those are my teammates." I huffed out, realising my mom has been watching from the sitting room window.

"Oh, the ones you went with to the gym?"

"Yes mom" I grunted.

Her eyes fell on the shopping bags I was holding. "What's with the bags?" She lowered her eyes.

"Well, Cindy, our captain is having a house party tonight, so we all went shopping for new outfits. They made me do the shopping anyways, I never planned any of it" I shrugged.

"Don't be like that. Your teammates are sweet. And don't forget you should be mingling with girls your age, especially the ones who are reaching out to be friends, like Cindy!" Mom lectured.

"Yeah right. Can I go in now? I've been standing here for God knows how long."

"Oh, I'm sorry honey" She apologized and moved to the side. I went inside the house. She shot the door and followed closely behind me. My father and Alex sat across from each other, watching soccer in the sitting room. I greeted my father, ignoring Alex. I placed my shopping bags on the center table. I let myself sink into the big Italian couch beside my father.

"Good evening sunshine. How was your day?"

"It was fine."

"What's with the bags? Did you go shopping?" Dad eyed my shopping bags.

"Yes, I was invited to our captain's house party tonight."

"Tonight?" Dad furrowed his eyebrows, I just nod with a shrug. He looks at my mom who has been standing at the kitchen doorway, she slightly nod at him. "Well okay. Just be careful at the party sunshine, especially with those high school boys. They could be tricky."
