The sun beamed down on your skin as you walked down the street. With a smile you stopped in front of the shop, the bell rang as you opened the door. Your eyes skimmed the place and landed on the cashier. Her tongue stuck out as she focused on her tasks at hand.
You giggled a little before walking towards what you needed. You grabbed some popsicles before making your way to the checkout. The girl looked up at you and smiled "Hi, did you find everything alright?" she asked in a cheerful voice. Nodding you pulled out your wallet ready to pay. Sweat dripped from your forehead causing you to ask her
"Do you not have any ac in here?" the girl looked at you before nodding a yes
"It broke a while ago and we haven't had to funds to fix it," her tone of voice was bored. You bit your lip, grabbing the popsicles and opening them. You handed one to her with a smile
"Take it, you're going to need it," you felt sympathetic to her. She bit her lip before quickly grabbing it
"I'm only taking it because you said.... Also, it's really hot in here and I can't tell if it's the weather or you anymore and I'm confused," she covered her hand over her mouth after she realized what she said.
You laughed out loud and went down on your knees, still laughing. "Wow, that was forward," you said with a smile. She laughed a little. You opened the popsicles and reached out towards her, she happily licked it.
"When do you get off?" you asked licking the policies. While she opened hers she answered "In 5 minutes actually," you smiled "Good, meet me outside."
