"BRENDON!" i jumped onto my dad.
"dylan! what the fuck!" he scolded me, hissing in pain on his thigh.
"you didn't tell me about your collab with taylor swift!" i exclaimed.
"get off me you dingus" he pushed me off him.
"how come i didn't know about this?"
"because when i found out it was happening you told me you wanted to die"

"oh" i said quietly.
"im sorry... that was a bit blunt. im just in a bad moon"
"its okay. sorry for jumping you"

"like it? i love it! i remember last year you saw her live! and under a year later you've collabed with her!? thats awesome! you're awesome!"
"thanks" he smiled at me. i hugged him.

my heart glowed when i heard him say that.
"guess what?" i said.
"what?" he leaned closer to me.
"JE SUIS CALM!" i yelled before running away laughing.
"not funny!" but he laughed with me.

i went to my room to listen to some music then got a text from justin.

me: you okay?

justin😔👊: your dad knows...i hang out with him a lot because i talk to him about it and stuff. and he promised not to tell you.

i pressed 'call' and let it ring.
"hello?" justin picked up.
"i like you too" i blurted out.
"nice try! you're gay" he scoffed.
"you clearly didn't see my instagram"
i heard tapping. "ohhh. you're still gay"
i giggled. "how did i not notice you and brendon?" i sighed.
"we've verrrrrry discreet" he explained.
"ah"
"anyway...do you wanna maybe go on a date soon?" he asked shyly.
"i'd love to" i smiled.
"awesome. well, im kinda busy with school right now but i'll make time for you"

i went back to my dad who was making lunch. "you knew justin liked me?" i asked.
he nodded. "yup. it was pretty obvious then he spilled to me because he couldn't hold it in" he explained.
