"dylan? can i come in?" brendon knocked on my door. i sniffled and carried on sobbing, not replying. he opened it and saw me crying. "this isn't healthy. okay, don't sit in here all day crying. you should get outside sometimes yknow? or even start playing the uke again to get your mind off things. anything" he sat next to me and gave me a long hug.
"i miss her so much brendon" i whispered.
"i know you do. and i know it's gonna be hard. but you'll get through this" he said kindly. "i've decided to not work today. me and you are gonna hang out. you go clean yourself up and i'll make you something to eat. okay?"

i had a shower and cried then i dried and straightened my hair. i got into a black yungblud t shirt, black jeans with a chain on it, black combat and boots and my black kanken. i styled my hair then did my make up and went downstairs.

brendon was waiting for me with a beer.
"you look so beautiful" he said as i sat down. i blushed awkwardly and offered to listen to him. so he talked about stuff and listened inventively. i liked hearing what he had to say for some reason. it was always so interesting.

anyway afterwards we headed to the car and brendon played the driver era. i tried to get my mind off jessica but i felt so low and empty. i felt terrible as brendon was trying but my anxiety was playing up really badly. we made it to a house. we got out of the car and brendon knocked on the door to reveal nicole - turns out this was her sisters house. she led us inside and we greeted her sister. then she took us upstairs. "i'll leave you two to it" she said before leaving.

brendon made me close my eyes. he opened the door and pulled me inside then closed it. he told me to sit and when i opened my eyes there were two kittens in front of me. my heart melted. i loved kittens so much!

"i thought we could play with kittens and talk" he said, sitting opposite me and picking up one of the kittens. i sniffled and took one, nodding.
