" hello guys this weeks lesson is emotions and you have til the end of this week to prepare a solo that conveys your feelings." Mr schue says as he enters the room, most of the group sigh and rachel starts talking to kurt about what she is gonna sing.

" mr schue this is just another chance for kurt and rachel to sing a stupid broadway song" santana states. Kurt turns to her and glares sternly before saying " i don't just sing broadway songs"

Santana rolls her eyes, and goes back to her conversation with brit. Kurt turns back to rachel and smiles before saying " i know what song i am gonna sing, i'm gonna dedicate it to my mum." Rachel nods and pulls kurt into a hug. Rachel,Mercedes and blaine are the only ones who know what happened to kurt's mum and how she died when kurt was 8. Kurt excuses himself to go talk to mr schue.

" mr schue is it ok if blaine comes on Friday to play the song on piano for me" kurt asks hopefully. Mr schue nods and kurt's thanks him before going to sit down next to rachel again.

After the bell rings kurt runs home and text blaine
B: hey babe how was school xxx
K: good we're doing emotions this week and i was wondering if you could come and play for my performance
B: sure babe any excuse to see you, what song is it
K: i'll show you when you come around tomorow
B: ok got to go wabler practice is starting xx love you
K: say hey to everyone for me and love you too xx

When kurt places his phone on the desk beside his bed he logs on to his computer and pulls up youtube so he can practice

As kurt enters the choir room with blaine he asks if he can go first and when mr schue agrees blaine walks over to the piano and waits for kurt's signal

" oh so what broadway song are you gonna be singing today lady hummel" santana says walking in to the class.

" santana shut up" rachel says to the girl, kurt had shown rachel the performance earlier that week and it had brought the small girl to tears.

" santana for once in your life stop being such a bitch and actually listen to someone else" blaine cuts in angrily glaring at the latino girl. Santana looks shocked and so does the rest of the group when blaine looks over to kurt and gives him a nod.

" this song is dedicated to my mum" kurt says looking at the sky and smiling. Everyone else immediately figures out what kurt means and stops talking.

Blaine starts playing and everyone stares intently at kurt.

When kurt finishes the song blaine walks over to kurt who now has tears in his eyes and pulls him into a hug followed everyone else even santana.

" that was beautiful kurt" mr schue says as the group pulls apart and kurt nods and goes to sit down with the group and blaine, blaine pulls kurt into his lap and kisses his cheak a few times before whispering " i am so in love with you"as santana starts to sing her song which was mine by Taylor swift which she was singing to brit.

All through the rest of the performances kurt's only thought is how lucky he is to have found blaine and at one lyric from the song that stood out the most to him
