Note: Another update for today, folks.

Anyway, commercial break, let me share a beautiful BL short film that I watched this morning. It was titled Just Friends?, directed and written by Kim Jho Kwang-Soo, starring Yeon Woo-jin and Lee Je-hoon.

Seriously, it was the most beautiful BL I've ever watched. The scenes are just so heartfelt and very true to life. And the steamy scene was so real.

Chapter 23: Jealousy and Wrath

"Look what I found in my locker."

Eric waved the wrapped gift in front of Charlie's face. Charlie snatched it and saw the note posted on it: "FOR CHARLIE." The handwriting was very similar from the one on the chocolate can yesterday.

"Looks like someone really admires you, huh?" Eric said then wrapped his arms around the smaller guy's shoulder, as if to reassure him and give him confidence.

Charlie merely frowned and said, "This is getting so weird..."

Here he goes again, Eric thought. "What's weird about an admirer giving you gifts, ha? Isn't that what you wanted? Aren't you tired of being a nobody? Now that someone's taking interest in you, you're acting like you don't deserve it." Eric drew closer to Charlie and grabbed his chin so he could turn Charlie's head to face him. "Buddy, you deserve it."

"Why do I deserve this?"

"Because you're a good person! And besides, I heard you got a very high grade in junior high." Eric nudged him.

"You don't get my point, Eric. This is getting creepy!"

Eric snorted. "It's not creepy! It's sweet! This girl really likes you."

Charlie was about to hand it back to Eric but Eric stopped him.

"You know what, you should open it."

"What if it's a prank from Jarwin, ha?"

Eric rolled his eyes. "This shit again? The chocolates yesterday, can you remember? You said it might be laced with poison. Well, aren't we still alive now, ha?" Eric snatched the gift and shoved it to Charlie's chest. "Open it."

Reluctantly, Charlie opened it. When he saw what was inside, his eyes were round with amazement.

Meanwhile, Olivia was hiding behind a bush watching Eric and Charlie get intimate with each other.

Looking at those two boys sharing a shade under the firm narra tree behind the school cafeteria, really made Olivia's heart ache with envy, but still, she's lucky she had Eric to help her perpetrate her plans.

Meanwhile, at the other side of the field, behind a small tree, David was peering at those two boys sitting under the tree, and saw Eric give some present to Charlie.

He gritted his teeth.

Fuck, I didn't know these two are a thing...

He felt like he needed to do something. He was getting on edge.

"Wow, this person knows I love this comic series!"

For the first time in forever, Eric saw genuine happiness painted on Charlie's innocent face. His bunny teeth were sticking out adorably.

He really likes this comic, huh? Damn, Olivia, you know a lot of things...

Charlie immediately leafed the pages and stared at one illustration to the next, taking all the superhero characters in, as if absorbing their glory into his system. He looked like a kid getting awed by his favorite toy.

When Charlie turned to Eric, his eyes were still round. "Do you have any idea who this person might be?"

"It could be from someone close to you. I mean, she knew that you like that comic! Must have been very close to you to know such things."

Charlie rubbed his chin, whispering to himself, "Who might that be...?"

Charlie slowly turned his face to Eric. He was all-smiles. "Eric, you don't have to pretend anymore. I know it's you."

Before Eric could say anything, Charlie already locked him in his embrace.

"Eric, my brother, you really love me, do you?"

Shocked, Eric was speechless and hugged this poor boy back.

Behind the bush, Olivia's eyes were round in disbelief. She wanted to charge at those two boys hugging each other.

Fuck, Eric, what are you doing?!

Meanwhile, in his hideout behind the small tree, David's jaw dropped upon seeing Charlie hug Eric.

That's my boy your hugging, jerk!

He wanted to run towards them and stop this heart-wrenching scene.

Regaining his senses, Eric tried to break free from Charlie's embrace, but the boy just kept on hugging him like a relentless cat.

Eric's face lost color when he saw two figures coming from opposite directions. One from the bush and one from behind the small tree in the distance.

He saw Olivia and David approaching them at the same time, both with angry faces.
