Note: Good morning guys! I'm so tired today. I went to the backyard to do some labor work. You know, trimming branches and carrying things and all that stuff.
Hope you enjoy this chapter! It's confession time!
PS. I'll upload the next chapter shortly.

Chapter 24: Confession Pt.1
Olivia was fuming, it's like her nose emits smoke like a steam train.
David was also in fiery wrath, stomping on the ground with his every step like a colossal monster.
As if blinded by jealousy, Olivia and David didn't see each other. Olivia walked towards Eric while David went to Charlie's direction.
Olivia violently grabbed Eric's shoulders away from Charlie's grasping hands.
At the exact same time, David grabbed both of Charlie's wrist away from Eric's body.
And at the exact same time, both these jealous wrathful gods uttered to their respective victims, "What are you doing?!"
Only then did they seem to notice each other's presence.
Olivia and David looked at each other with moon-round eyes, shocked.
"Why are you here?!" Both of them asked at the same damn time.
"I'm just fetching my friends, what's it to you, ha?" Olivia said.
"Well, I'm also fetching my friend Eric."
Eric cleared his throat. "I should be the one asking you two. Why are both of you angry, ha?"
Olivia faced Eric abruptly and stared at him, her eyes squinting, and her nose fuming as if saying, "You know damn well why I'm angry, Eric."
It was David's time to clear his throat. "Never mind that, why are YOU hugging each other? Are you a thing?" His voice was very irritated, his every word leaving a trail of wrathful fire in everyone's ears.
"No!" Eric exclaimed. "Charlie hugged me because he thought I was the one who gave him this comic book!"
"Aren't you, though?" Charlie asked.
"I'm not, Charlie. I kept telling you that the person who gave it to you was probably a girl that's close to us, and who's head over heels for you!"
While Eric was saying this, he was deliberately looking at Olivia, eyeing her with large eyes and enunciating the words with deliberate emphasis. He was getting impatient for this kind of dramatic shit.
David furrowed his brows. "Really, ah?"
His tone was sarcastic.
"Then why did you also look adorable together yesterday, ah? Eating chocolates and laughing together?"
David's face was green with envy that Eric and Olivia and Charlie couldn't help wondering why David went to this trouble just to question Eric and Charlie's relationship.
"Hold up," Olivia said. "Why are you questioning Eric? It's me who should question Eric, you know?"
Now it was Charlie who was confused as to why Olivia said that.
"Why, though?" Charlie asked innocently.
Now it was Olivia's turn to blush so hard like a rose. She sweated profusely and her fingers fiddled with the hem of her blouse, while also glancing in every direction restlessly.
Fuck, I haven't thought I'd be in this hot seat!
Eric sighed so deep it sounded like he emerged from the deepest part of the ocean. He was getting so impatient with this series of questioning, throwing suspicions at each other, furrowing eyebrows, nagging, and unanswered questions.
"Wanna know why Olivia's here, Charlie, ha?" Eric said emphatically.
"It's because Olivia---" Eric began, but his sentence was cut short when Olivia covered his mouth.
"Shut it!"
Charlie tilted his head at these two friends of his who seemed to have understood something he doesn't know.
When Eric calmed down, Olivia let him go.
She breathed deeply, looked at her purple jelly shoes, then finally looked at Charlie's eyes directly like she was staring at Charlie's soul. Her eyes were full of longing, yearning even.
"It's because I LIKE YOU CHARLIE!" She screamed at the top of her lungs that the sparrows perching at the narra tree flew into the sky.
"That comic book, the tin can of chocolates yesterday, they were all from me! All those letters that were probably rotting in your locker right now—hell, I took so much effort sneaking them in your locker—they were all from me! I like you Charlie! I like you so much that it aches me so bad that you don't seem to acknowledge this! It's like I'm this creepy creature who always chases your shadow, when I know for a fact that your heart of stone is impossible to break open! Have you forgotten what it feels to be loved, ha?!" Olivia's words were like bellows of thunder from above.
"And now... Seeing you like this being close to Eric breaks my heart so bad! And now you even had to hug each other like lovers, ha?! Tell me, Charlie, are you gay?! Tell me outright, so I won't keep my hopes up anymore knowing that you won't like me in a million years! That's much, much better than me sitting at the sides and hoping that you and I could be together!" Olivia flailed her arms helplessly at her sides, all the while stomping on the grass like a kid in tantrums, and all the while tears were streaming down her face.
She sat on the ground and hid her face in her palms and knees. "There! I confess! I probably look like a creeper!" Her voice was muffled. She sobbed.
Eric and David looked at her with totally shocked expressions on their faces.
Charlie, on the other hand, was surprisingly calm. A gentle breeze ruffled his smooth hair.
