Note: Good morning guys. I just woke up. It's  six in the morning and I just had a weird dream.

In the dream, I was watching Xu Weizhou and Huang Jingyu have a duet on a variety show on TV, together with my parents, who were also amused by the TV show. Oddly, the song that they were singing was the ending theme song from History 2 Crossing the Line, called 越界. Lol.

Anyway, enjoy reading as I'd probably upload the next chapter as well.

Chapter 31: Creepy Chameleon

Reaching their classroom at the same time, Eric and David walked casually towards their seat at the back. Eric had his usual bored face on, while David wore his mischievous, bully jock smile as usual.

Olivia and Charlie, who were busy chatting, turned their heads toward the boys.

Olivia, her hand resting lazily on the novel with two men on its cover, remarked, "Arriving together, ha?"

David grinned proudly and put an arm around Eric's shoulders. "I stayed---”

Eric cut him short.

"We saw each other on the stairs and we decided to go to class together," Eric said awkwardly.

Olivia smirked mockingly. "You saw each other on the way here, huh?" She gestured at Eric's and David's faces. "Then why do you both have dried milk on your lips, huh? Did you also happen to drink milk together coincidentally?"

Eric felt embarrassed and quickly licked his upper lip.

David also wiped his lips with his hanky. When he saw Eric licking his lips, he also involuntarily licked his lips.

Olivia noticed this and teasingly smiled at these pretty boys. There's definitely something going on here, she thought amusingly. I can sniff it from their faces.

The sexual tension, those meaningful gazes, their uncomfortable stance, their awkward sentences...

Olivia grinned evilly. Her grip tightened on the novel on her desk. It's just like in the books!

I support!

Charlie suddenly occupied the dead silence with his cheerful voice.

"That's nice of you to get together so well," Charlie smiled warmly at his brother Eric. He didn't seem to be so bothered now that Eric's seemingly spending time with David.

In the past, Charlie would get jealous whenever Eric's hanging out with anyone, even Olivia.

Now, he seemed like a different person already. It's as if he had also set Eric free from his own cage.

Eric felt happy seeing that Charlie's smiling at him warmly, and seemed to be cheerful seeing him with David.

Plus, it's the first time that Olivia and Charlie noticed him, since the drama-under-the-tree. This certainly dispelled David's statements yesterday that Olivia and Charlie would forget about him eventually.

"I told you we're still all good friends," Eric told David when they sat on their chairs.

"Whatever you say." But promise me your attention would be for me only, David thought, but didn't dare say this.

After all, they're in the classroom, and Jarwin and his minions were staring at them mockingly.

David wasn't sure but Jarwin held his phone out in their direction, as if taking a photo of them.

Is he taking a photo of Eric and I?!

But his thoughts disappeared when he realized that Jarwin might have only reached his phone to get a better signal or something. He's probably sending a text message.
