Note: I'm sorry for the late update. I just came from a summer vacation at the beach for several days. It's outside the city so the internet connection there was so spotty that it's almost unusable.

Anyway, hope you have fun reading. This chapters a little longer than usual, didn't bother slicing it. Thank y'all!

Chapter 33: Expressing Feelings

After the last bell had rung, the students walked towards the building exit. Eric and David walked together, and reaching the building facade, they stopped and stood motionless on the stairway.

"So..." Eric started awkwardly. "See you next week. Good luck on the exam."

He was about to leave but he hesitated upon seeing David's distressed face.

But after a few seconds, he turned away and walked away from David.

David hurriedly ran towards Eric and grabbed his shoulder. "Hey!"

"What?"

"Do you really want me to go back to my home, ah?"

Eric sighed heavily. "Of course, it's your home. Whatever those issues are between you and your businessman father, you should definitely resolve it. It doesn't feel good to harbor ill feelings towards your family members."

Saying this reminded Eric of his good-for-nothing father. Practicing what you preach, huh? He thought sardonically.

"But I'm not ready yet! Please, Eric, just let me stay in your house even for one more night. I definitely need to think some more about this. Please."

David began caressing Eric's shoulders and biceps, much more intensely than usual.

"Hey, stop that!" Eric shrugged off David's probing hands and looked around the students around them. "Have a little shame!"

David smirked cockily. "So what if they're seeing this, ah?" He playfully fingered Eric's arms before his slender fingers trailed Eric's chest. "Let me stay in your house tonight, I'll stop doing this now. I'll do this instead later when we're all alone." He winked.

David didn't see Eric's quick slap on his head. It was like a quick jet of water that crashed against the back of his head. He saw some stars for a moment.

"Stop messing with me, or you'll find your head on the floor."

David winced in pain and rubbed the back of his head. "What the... I'm just messing around!"

Wordlessly, Eric turned to leave and left the school gate.

David saw him leaving and tailed behind him rushedly.

"Eric, come on! Let me stay tonight!"

Eric continued walking unconcerned.

"Besides, you also need to review me about our lessons, you know?"

"Am I your private tutor, ha?" Eric turned around.

Shameless David quickly wrapped his arm round Eric's shoulder and drew his face closer.

"Besides, you also need me to tuck you in to sleep, right?" He whispered.

Eric rolled his eyes at him and pried his arms away from his body. Wordlessly, Eric dashed like a lightning bolt.

David ran after him.

David expected Eric to be so limber and quick, but he didn't expect him to be this furiously fast. He reckoned the boy might have trained in running or something.
