Chapter 44: Staying in His House

Early morning the next day, David was knocking on Eric's door.

Eric was still lying on the couch sleeping when these overenthusiastic knocks came.

Eric was roused to hazy consciousness because of those damned knocks.

"Eric? Eric, are you there?!"

Fuck!

Eric rubbed his eyes annoyingly.

"Eric, I know you're there! You're a homebody, you have no social life, you only stay home all the time, please open this door!"

Goddamn!

Eric looked at the wall clock and saw it was 6:30 in the morning.

The knocks continued on and on.

"Eric? Eric?"

Eric sighed, before shouting, "Coming!"

He then got up lazily, stomped his way into the doorway and opened the door violently that it almost got off its hinges.

David's annoyingly smiling face were illuminated by the morning sunlight.

"What the hell do you want?!"

"I'm just visiting my friend, that's all."

"It's freaking six in the fucking morning!"

"The better," David beamed at him, then stepped into the house uninvited. "We'll have more time together." He hooked his arm around Eric's shoulders.

"What do you want?" Eric said, irritated. He picked his eyes off of those pesky, sticky morning glories.

"I'll take you to my house."

"For what, David?" Eric unhooked David's arm around him.

"Should there be a reason for the things that I'm doing, ah? And what the hell is up with that face, it's deader than the Dead Sea."

Eric stared at this unbelievable guy with a poker face. Being woken up early in the morning just to be further annoyed is the worst thing ever.

"Besides... I've missed you already." David then pushed Eric into the living room and further against the wall until Eric became fully awake and was already breathing heavily and sweating.

David put both of his hands on Eric's waist.

Eric blushed, uncomfortable. What the hell is up with this guy? He's always in heat!

He suddenly remembered the sermon yesterday at the church.

Homosexuals go to hell.
Gays are denied entry to heaven.
Homo is a no-no.

Goddamn, am I gay?!

Eric was frustrated at his conflicting feelings. In the end, he pushed David away from him.

David, however, quickly drew close again. "The hell is up with you today, Eric?" He asked, confused, grabbing Eric's chin and turning it from side to side as if inspecting it.

"Jesus is watching," Eric involuntarily uttered. He was also shocked upon hearing those words from his own lips. Is he now becoming religious like his mother? Fuck!

David burst out laughing, clutching his stomach and almost rolling on the floor. When he recovered, he said, "He can watch all he want, he should grab a popcorn 'cause it's gonna be one hell of a show."

"What do you mean?"

Getting up, smirking then leaning on the wall behind Eric, David confidently said, "Sleep at my house for the following days, Eric. I'm so lonely back there. We can do all sorts of f u n  t h i n g s."
