Note: Hey guys again! Just wanted to let you know that I updated this chapter immediately following up the last, cause this one and the last one were originally connected as a single chapter. Frankly, the next chapter as well was connected to this one, but I might upload it later or tomorrow. Thanks for reading and don't forget to comment and vote or voice out your opinion.

Chapter 32: Clever Fox
"There's something weird about our teacher..."
Eric didn't really want to voice this thought out, but he found himself saying this.
He sat on the cafeteria chair in front of David, both of them eating lunch together. This time, Eric didn't hold back and actually bought the food that he likes, courtesy of David's spending.
David can only pay happily for Eric.
"What teacher are you talking about?"
"Our adviser... You know, that guy with the large squarish glasses?"
David winced upon hearing this. "That guy's sure is shady. I mean, with that light always reflecting on his eyeglasses? I haven't even seen his eyes!"
Eric stared at David with a serious face. "Do you know what they say about people whose eyes are always hidden?" Eric drew closer with round eyes. "These people are said to be soulless."
Eric's voice was like a cutting cold wind that caused David's soul to shiver. "Stop saying these things, it's making me uneasy."
Eric was amused. Huh, I didn't know David hated feeling scared. It made him want to scare him more.
"What's more, those people whose eyes are always obscured by the light are actually demons themselves, having shapeshifted into human form to find their next victims..."
David's face distorted in distaste and protest. "What the hell, Eric? I don't fucking wanna hear this bullshit." He embraced himself and tried to calm his goosebumps down, but the more he did it, the more their teacher's face appeared on his mind. "It's not like our adviser's an actual devil, you know?"
Eric turned serious again. "I don't know, David. I can't explain it. There's something off with him."
David's mind wandered for a bit upon seeing Jarwin, Loco, and Jaguar sitting at the distance. "You know what's off? Those bastards having their phones always extended in front of them, as if they're recording the world at all times. What's worse, I heard those three joined the photography club."
David gritted his teeth, thinking what kind of shenanigans those bullies were up to these days.
David stared at those idiots fiddling with their phones and camcorders for a very long time.
Eric noticed David's glares. "Hey, eat up. Don't worry about those three. They're certainly no match to your physical strength."
David banged his chest proudly. "Try to mess with us again, I'll put them in their proper place—the trash can."
David then began chowing down on his meal, his gaze not leaving his former friends.
Jarwin saw David looking at them and motioned to Loco and Jaguar. They sniggered.
David averted his eyes from those bastards and focused on eating.
Suddenly, he remembered his altercation with his father. It appeared on his mind like an uninvited ghost.
Feng's voice played on his mind.
"I've already talked to your principal this afternoon and enrolled you myself to that private school."
