Samantha's POV

I was awaken by the beeping noise of my phone.

Kinusot ko yung mga mata ko to wake me up a little bit cuz I'm still really sleepy.

I look at my phone and gently tap the answer button, not bothering to look at the caller ID.

I know it was Jakey kasi madalas niya akong tinatawagan ng ganitong oras.

"Hello, Jake."Inaantok kong bati.

I'm waiting for him to talk but he didn't even utter a word.

"Jake! Don't fool around. You, of all people, knows that I am not a morning person! And besies, we will meet later-" *toot* *toot*

Tsk. Anong trip niya sa life?

I go back to sleep, not minding that nonsense call.

I was awaken again by my beeping phone.

Another phone call from Jake?

Ugh. He can be this annoying sometimes!

I answer the call.

("Good morning, beautiful. Can you please open the door so that I can see you?")

His voice was so sweet.

"Wait! Where are you?"I asked upon realizing na hindi niya alam kung nasaan ako.

("Just open the suit's door of your husband.")

Oh, sh*t! He seriously knows where I am.

I hang up and rush to the door.

When I open it, a smiling Jake appeared. He look at me from head to toe and I quickly blushed.

Ugh. Why do I need to put myself in shame this early morning?

But I guess, it's just okay because it's none other than Jake.

He is my bestfriend, afterall.

"Can you please wear some decent clothes infront of me? I am your bestfriend, hon, bht don't you forget that I am also a guy. And honestly, I want to pinned you to the wall right now."he chuckled.

"Oh, c'mon! I know you don't and you won't."I said abd gave him a hard slap in his arms.

We were both laughing when---

"Oh, please, wife. Don't be a bitch here in my own suit."Angelo said mockingly and I froze at his choice of words.

Hindi ko na nagawang lumingon kung nasaan man siya sa sobrang pagkabigla but the next thing I know, Jake is on top of him.

He was caught off guard pero mabilis na nakabawi at sinapak pabalik si Jake.

Wala akong balak awatin sila.

It is not because of the fact that I want them to hurt each other.But the fact that I don't have any strength to get them stop cuz my energy drained at what he said.

The next thing I know is they stop. They stopped when I ran out of the door.

"Sam!"I heard Jake called after me.

Hindi ako lumingon dahil I don't want them to see me like this.

Pained and... crying...

Ang sakit lang kasi. I didn't even imagine him calling me like that.

And I never thought that it will hurt me like this.

I just ran and ran.

I just want to hide from him.
