"Do we really have to?" Hana muttered. Her long willow brown hair was slightly messy, she wore a large seaweed green jacket with snow-white puffy and soft cotton tripped her hood along with a long-sleeved black shirt and black ripped jeans.

"Yes Hana, this will be for the better." Kasai, her father who she got most if not all of her looks from, said as he zipped his case closed. Hana sighed rolling her eyes tucking her hands in her jacket's pockets before walking to the door.

"I'm getting some air." He muttered walking out. She'd be lying if she said she was nervous, it's not like she had anyone here she'd miss since she usually kept to her self other then a few teachers she's made friends with, but she's heard stories of this side of the family from her mother that unsettled her. Her mother told Hana of her many greats grandfather Sōta, he had an older sister named Kagome. Kagome apparently had used the Bone Eater's well to somehow go five hundred years in the past, met this half demon dog guy, saved their world only for it to crumble again and never came back. Those sound like children's scary stories you'd tell them to make sure they behaved, but this family of Hana's is very spiritual, so shamefully enough Hana believed it. Nitta, Hana's mother, believed this caused a curse to fall upon the family because young women sometimes go missing in their family. Of course, there was always a lawful explanation but like her mother, Hana was unnerved by this thought. Hana sighed leaning against the back of the house before pulling out a small pen-like object, she clicked it five times, then clicked it once more putting it to her lips inhaling. She held her breath for a moment closing her seaweed green eyes.

'Watch this blow up in our faces. Going to a whole new country with nowhere to go is the worst idea papa has EVER had! Mama's family hardly know us for fuck sakes, why would they take us in?' She blew out a large puff of smoke that had a honey and vanilla scent to it. Yes, Hana was no saint. She had bad habits, however, this was the most subtle and safe one to keep her calm in stressful times.

"Hana we need to get going to catch our flight!" Hana sighed rather loudly hearing her father.

"Yeah, coming!" She called clicking her pen five times before putting it away and walking to the front.

"Your bag's by the door." Her father said before walking to a black car, his co-worker's car. Hana nodded, mainly to herself since he had already looked away, before walking over and picking up her bag with her clothes and other things inside. They didn't pack much, mainly because her father said he wanted them to start new in Japan. Hana didn't complain since she didn't have to carry much, but some things he left behind pained her. For example, her mother's favorite recliner chair. You can't take that on a plane sure, but she knew she'd still miss sitting there while she did school work.

"Alright, let's get you to fancy pantsy Japan!~" May, she was around Kasai's age and was actually his friend from high school. Hana smiled, mainly because she hoped her father would chicken out because he'd miss May too much, as she walked over putting her bag in the trunk. Kasai closed the trunk before sitting in the front passenger seat while Hana sat in the back. She grabbed the headphones that were hanging around her neck putting them over her ears and putting on Fallen Angel by Three Days Grace closing her eyes and relaxing.

"How is she handling all of this?" May asked softly when she saw Hana plug into her music.

"It's hard to tell. It obvious she's against the idea, but then a second later she seems calm about it." Kasai muttered closing his eyes. May hummed for a moment before smiling.

"You know, we got time. How about some McDaddies?~" Kasai blushed at this comment.

"E-Excuse me?!" May laughed.
