~Chapter 16~

"You're back!" Shippō said hugging his doggy friend. 

"Yeah yeah." Inuyasha huffed before falling silent, then ruffling the fox's hair.

"You're old." He muttered making said fox pull back with a glare.

"Says you." He growled softly.

"You're the ones with a kid." Inuyasha said in a snarky tone.

"For the record, my wife started it." Shippō said with a proud grin making all of us but Sesshomaru laugh.

"Thanks for telling us about your sex life." Hana joked making Shippō turn red.

"We should get going." Sesshomaru muttered before walking off.

"It was at this moment, Sesshomaru knew, he shouldn't have taken to job to escort us due to this being a damn near babysitting job.~" Hana joked making Aia and Kaito laugh. Hana took Inuyasha's hand with a smile.

"Let's head back, ok?" He hesitated but nodded relaxing as he gently held her hand.

"Hey Kaito, don't they look cute together?" Aia asked in a teasing tone.

"I personally think so.~" He teased winking at Hana who blushed a little. As they walked back, Inuyasha simply looked around with a curious look in his eye making Hana smile softly.

"Hana, take a look!" Kaito said making her look, there was a very colorful butterfly on his finger. Hana's eyes sparkled making her let Inuyasha's hand go and skip over next to him.

"It's so pretty!~" She said with a bright smile. Inuyasha's eyes narrowed at the young male, he was taking her attention away from him.

'Just kill him and get him out of the way.' The beast growled filling Inuyasha with jealousy and need for her attention again. Inuyasha took a deep breath closing his eyes then slowly let it out calming himself.

"Inu look!" Inuyasha opened his eyes to see Hana in front of him walking backward, the butterfly now in her hands, it's wings fluttering here and there.

"Isn't it pretty?~" She said in awe. A soft smile tugged at his lips feeling satisfied once again as he nodded gently.

"I never got to see big forests or cool creatures before." Hana started turning to walk beside him once again, the butterfly still resting on her hands.

"In my time, there were so many buildings and big structures, light pollution, air pollution, everything we humans made scared all the creatures away as we destroyed their homes to make our own or just for fun." She frowned.

"I really wish humans weren't so cold-hearted and selfish." Inuyasha's ears fell slowly as he listened to her. Aia, Kaito, Shippō, A-Un, and even Sesshomaru glanced at her from time to time listening to her as well.

"But now I got to come here and finally make friends and see what I could only dream was real!" She said with a smile looking up at Inuyasha, his ears perking up a little. The butterfly then suddenly flew off making her look where it was going as she lowered her hands.

"Wait." Sesshomaru suddenly said making everyone stop and look at him.

"You sense that too?" Shippō whispered before looking behind the group, Sesshomaru glancing back.

"Yeah." He muttered. The others soon turned to look but didn't see anything.

"What is it?" Aia whispered grabbing the cloth on her Hiraikotsu.

"It's dark, but I'm not sure what it is." Kaito whispered, his grip on his Shakujō tightening. Hana looked around a bit, then to where the butterfly had flown off.

"It headed back that way." She whispered softly looking at her hands tensing.

"What is this?" Inuyasha quickly looked seeing an odd marking on one of her hands. Kaito quickly came to Hana's side looking at her hand.

"A pentagram with kanji? Violent winds?" He whispered.

"That butterfly was very friendly to Hana because it was a trap to whatever is about to meet us." Sesshomaru said reaching down and grabbing Tōkijin's handle.

"What is the mark for?" Hana asked looking out again.

"A mark." Inuyasha growled under his breath.

"A claiming mark?!" Shippō said surprised. Suddenly there was a strong gust of wind making everyone shield their eyes. Sesshomaru peaked up before taking Tōkijin out swinging once creating a gust of wind to counter the other soon clearing the dust flying around them.

"Muchiuchi." Sesshomaru growled making the others look. Said male let out a soft yet sassy chuckle.

"Aww, you remember me? What an honor my lord.~" The man had long ice blue hair, dark blue lips which seemed to sparkle, and blue fading into pink butterfly wing makeup on his eyes. There was a cape thing behind him against his back the same colors as his makeup, and the rest of his clothing was very sexual making Hana cringe a little.

"What do you want?" Sesshomaru growled. The man let out the same chuckle as a moment ago before his bright pink eyes landed on Hana.

"Her of course.~" Hana tensed.

"What?" She asked softly making him point his long black claws at her hand.

"That's my mark love, you're mine now.~" 

"Eh?" Hana stared for a moment before glaring.

"You don't own me, I don't even know you!" She snapped before quickly grabbing and loading her bow aiming it at him. He laughed rather loudly.

"Fiesty aren't you?~"

"What do you want with her?" Sesshomaru asked lowly as he stepped up in front of the others, Shippō soon copying him as a blue flame formed in his hand.

"The light radiating from her is simply entrancing, a priestess, those are so rare now 'n days. Yes?~" Hana gritted her teeth, then Inuyasha snarled loudly making her look up at him.

"I won't let you take what's mine." His voice sounded a lot darker then it did before making her give a worried look.

"Oh but, you see, she wasn't marked until now, and that's my mark.~" Muchiuchi said before laughing again, a swarm of butterflies flying around him, then he was gone as they left. Hana lowered her bow confused.

"Where did he go?" She asked, then a sudden gust of wind blew harshly in the middle of the group and right in front of her making her fly back, that was until someone caught her in their arms. 

"Let her go!!!" Inuyasha snarled making her look up and freeze as he stared down at her with a sickening grin.

"I already claimed her, get that through your head, she's mine.~" He chuckled, that was until Hana swung at his face making him lose grip on her. She dropped to her feet ready to bolt, but then he grabbed her wrist harshly making her hiss in pain and grab as his hand.

"You need to learn how to behave." He spoke lowly as he glared down at her. She glared back at him in tenfold making his face quickly switch to a curious look, then a grin.

"I'll have lots of fun with you.~"

"Inuyasha don't you'll hurt her too!" Sesshomaru snapped making Hana look seeing Inuyasha, his bangs covered his eyes as he shook violently. Muchiuchi laughed loudly before yanking Hana holding her against him.

"Aww, how sad, a lovesick pup waiting too long and lost the one he wanted. It might be for the better, she would have ended up like the last two." He grinned darkly.

"After all." He trailed off clicking his fingers making the swarm come back, a weird powder now falling off their wings.

"History always repeats.~"
