Hana hummed as she dried her hair and walked downstairs looking for Inuyasha.

"Hmm? Where'd he run off to?" She whispered.

"Looking for Inuyasha?" Yanai asked.

"Uhn." Hana nodded.

"He walked to your room." Hana smiled.

"Th-"

"Wait, Hana." She quickly said before her granddaughter could walk off.

"Hmm?" She hummed tilting her head.

"It's what Inuyasha said when you went to grab Kagome's book." Hana wore a curious look.

"Yoshifumi asked who confessed first believing you two were dating, Inuyasha's final response is worrisome." Hana let the towel rest on her shoulders.

"What did he say?" She asked softly.

"I'm merely a demon tied to this bloodline. When they need me, they release me. When they don't, they seal me away for the next one to come along." Yanai quoted perfectly.

"What? I told him- no I promised him I would never!" Hana said gaining her father's attention.

"I'm sure he knows, but he needs time to think hun." Yanai spoke softly.

"Hana." Kasai spoke up making Hana look over at him.

"Here's a tip about us men. We're very stubborn, you gotta bash us in the head before we finally understand you." Hana stared for a moment before a grin rested on her lips.

"You'd know, huh?" She teased making him roll his eyes.

"Yeah yeah, I know." Hana laughed before sighing.

"I'll go check on him." She muttered before turning away and walking to her room. When she got there, she simply walked in not even thinking about knocking.

"Inuyasha, are y-" Hana froze seeing him laying on her bed. She wore a confused look before closing the door behind her and walking over. When she saw he was asleep, a gentle smile pulled at her lips.

"Aww." She whispered under her breath, then he suddenly shifted making her cover her mouth thinking she had woken him up, but when he shuttered, eyes clenching shut even more, she knew something was wrong.

"Inuyasha?" She spoke softly kneeling down beside the bed to be level with him. He shifted again, his ears pinning down and his grip on the blanket under him tightening, his claws threatened to rip the fabric as he let out a pretty pathetic growl. Hana let out a gentle breath before reaching out and gently placing her hand on his cheek, her thumb gently stroking his warm skin.

"Shh, you're ok Inuyasha." She spoke softly. After a moment, his body relaxed a little making her smile. She moved her hand to gently pet his ear making it flick. His lips parted just a centimeter as he let out a gentle breath.

"Good boy." She whispered before removing her hand and standing up and sitting on the edge of the bed. There was a gentle knock on the door making Hana look over.

"Yeah?" The door opened as Fujima stepped inside holding something in her hand.

"I got to thinking." She started before pulling the chair at the desk to sit in front of Hana.

"Kagome kept a journal of her adventures, so why don't you?" She asked holding out a brown leather journal. Hana took it and looked at it, it was able to be locked with a three-digit combination lock that was made within the leather neatly.

"Your mother made all kinds of journals, most of them she never used and would just give to her friends. This one, however, she kept. She never made a combination for it, she never wrote in it, so we don't really know why." Fujima pointed to the flower design sewn into the leather.

"And they, how convenient." She said with a soft giggle making Hana giggle as well.

"And hey, if Yoshifumi gets on you asking for stories, just hand him this. It'll help his reading skills too." Fujima said with a wink so Hanna nodded.

"How do you set the code?"

"Just put in the combination, and lock the journal. Your mother made all her journals with this kind of lock, and it's really cool because every time you close it the dials move automatically so it's not left on the unlocking code." Hana nodded and thought for a moment.

"Hmm, my favorite manga has five hundred and fifty-eight chapters, so maybe five-five-eight?"

"Sounds good to me!" Fujima chirped. Hana nodded once more, put in the numbers, then locked the journal. The dials spun to random numbers so Hana tried to code, and sure enough, it popped open unlocking the journal.

"There you go. Oh, one more thing." Fujima reached into her robe's pocket pulling out a pen handing it to Hana. The cat had a cat face on it with cat ears sticking out and on the pen Japanese kanji saying 'Nyan' was written, at the other end of the pen was a rubber rounded end.

"Isn't it cute? I found it when cleaning out my things a few weeks before you guys arrived. It's erasable too." Fujima said with a smile. Hana rose a brow at her.

"Did Yoshifumi buy this for you?"

"Oh heavens no, I bought a pack myself, I couldn't resist." Hana giggled.

"Ok, thank you." She said with a warm smile.

"Of course. Now, I'll leave you be to rest, don't want to wake Inuyasha after all." Fujima said with a smile before standing, putting the chair back, and walking to the door.

"Goodnight Fujima." Hana said with a smile.

"Goodnight love." Fujima said before closing her door on the way out. Hana let out a gentle breath looking at the journal.

"Hmm, Kagome had a few drawings in hers." Hana let out an excited gasp.

"I totally need a cover page! Hmm, should to drawing be cool, or cute?" Hana mumbled softly. Inuyasha nuzzled the pillow gently as he shifted to get comfortable again, scooting closer to Hana in the process.

"Hmm, Inuyasha is the main character in this story, so the drawing should be of him." Hana thought for a moment.

"Cool, epic, adventurous." Hana thought out loud, then remembered out cuddly he was before they found the Tsuki no shukufuku helping Inuyasha seal away his demon making her giggle.

"Nah, adorable, it has to be. Hmm, how to draw him adorable." She looked at him, then his ears.

"Hmm, oh I can draw him as a puppy. What kind of dog is he though?" Hana hummed softly to herself before snickering.

"Japanese spitz for sure. I know this pen is erasable but I need to use a pencil to sketch at the very least." Hana got up walking to Kagome's desk grabbing a pencil hoping that age hadn't ruined them. She then sat on the bed again opening the journal to the first page and got to sketching.
