~Chapter 10~

"Thanks for the help Hana." Shippō said with a sweet smile, he was early healed now but still needed help getting around.

"No problem, you're lucky you heal fast." Hana said with a laugh.

"Yeah." Shippō said with a soft laugh as he sat down.

"It's been a long week huh?" He said as Hana sat next to him.

"Yeah, is it bad when I say I wish something would happen?" He laughed.

"Honestly, I said the same thing when I was younger on our adventures. There was a week of just walking and it was so boring." Hana laughed.

"How's archery training with Lady Eiko?" Shippō asked.

"Awesome! I've gotten the hang of it finally, it's actually pretty fun!" Hana chirped. There was a growl gaining both of their attention.

"Oh hey A-Un!~" Hana chirped getting up and petting them. They leaned into her touch as their tail swayed side to side cheerfully.

"Is Kaida bugging Sesshomaru again?" Shippō asked making them both nod. Shippō laughed.

"Geez, she's lucky he's raised children several times before." Hana looked back at her foxy friend.

"He has? I thought he only raised Rin." Shippō shook his head.

"Eiko is of Rin's bloodline, Sesshomaru has followed said bloodline raising and protecting them all for many generations. The reason it took him so long to get here is that he was with Eiko's daughter and grandson." Hana hummed an 'oh'.

"Papa look!" Kaida called making Shippō, Hana, and A-Un look. Kaida was standing on Sesshomaru's head with her arms stretched to the sky.

"I'm super tall!~" She said with a gleeful smile. Shippō brought a hand to his face with a sigh and smile.

"Kaida." He said shaking his head.

"Uncle Sesshomaru is super cool!" Kaida said jumping to his shoulder and hugging him nuzzling his cheek making him glance at her.

"Aww.~" Hana cooed with a smile.

"She's been at it all day huh? Sorry, she got my hyperactivity.~" Shippō said with a cheeky smile.

"It's fine, I'm used to it." Sesshomaru muttered reaching up and grabbing Kaida holding her in his arm properly.

"Find anything on Inu?" Hana asked tilting her head a little.

"No, it's as if he disappeared after he saved you from that snake demon." He muttered as Kaida nuzzled his Mokomoko-san.

"Weird." Hana muttered softly.

"You think he might be lurking?" Shippō asked softly.

"Hmm, not sure why he would but maybe." Sesshomaru muttered.

"Well, what would d-" A loud bang rang through the air making everyone's gaze snap to where it came from.

"That's miles off, but it sounded like it was right here." Shippō whispered.

"We better take a look." Sesshomaru said to me handing Kaida to Shippō. I nodded hopping into A-Un's back.

"Let's go!" A-Un nodded soon taking to the sky, Sesshomaru flying beside them.

"Meet us there!" Aia called from the ground.

"BE CAREFUL!!!!!" Hana yelled back so they could hear her.

"What could cause this?" Hana asked looking over at Sesshomaru.

"My only guess, Inuyasha." Hana nodded.

"Why would he m-" Another loud bang rang through the air, but a lot louder this time making Hana cover her ears and hiss in pain.

"If I go deff because of him I'm going to kill him." Hana growled removing her hands to grab A-Un's reins again. Sesshomaru flew a little higher so Hana made A-Un copy him, now they could see a large amount of dust whirling around.

"Damn it." Sesshomaru growled under his breath. Then a large creature with giant claws, horns, and unkempt hair could be seen as it roared loudly.

"What the hell is that?!" Hana said with wide eyes.

"An Oni. How did it get out of the netherworld?" Sesshomaru said before whispering the last part. There was a white flash by the creature before blood spurted out of its new wound.

"Inuyasha!" Hana said before tying the reins around her ankle.

"Steady A-Un." She said before standing on their saddle taking her bow off her shoulder and loading an arrow pulling it back. Hana whistled loudly making the large beast look at them, then she let the arrow go as it flew to the creature's eye. It roared loudly in pain as Hana quickly knelt down grabbing the reins properly.

"Let's go." A-Un then charged forward on her command. Hana untied the reins from her ankle just as A-Un rounded the beast's head making it turn and try to grab them. A-Un dodged before halting in the air, Hana sat down, loaded an arrow and shot it in its other eye making it grab at its face.

"It's blinded!" She called as Sesshomaru came in using his light whip to cause much-needed damage to put this thing down. Hana loaded another arrow waiting for a good angle. When its face was exposed again she shot its forehead, though it may not have caused much damage it was a good distraction for Sesshomaru to use his Dokkasō on the creature's chest making it stumble back and fall.

"Are we good?" Hana called out to Sesshomaru.

"Yeah." He confirmed before landing on the creature's chest that was slowly melting due to the poison Sesshomaru used. Hana looked around until she saw something in the shadows.

"A-Un, land." The dragon demon quickly obeyed going to the ground below landing gracefully. Hana slid off of the dragon demon slowly walking to the figure, she got a better look seeing it was a man with long hair.

"Inuyasha?" The creature perked up before pulling itself away from the girl. Sesshomaru landed next to her making Inuyasha let out a beastly growl as he stood up.

"Hana, stand back." Sesshomaru said holding an arm in front of her. Hana hesitated but went back to A-Un climbing on them grabbing the reins. The moment Inuyasha dashed at Sesshomaru there was a large gust of wind stirring up dust making Hana block her face.

"Up!" A-Un jumped to the sky quickly flying above so they and Hana could get a good look at the scene.

'Sesshomaru.' Hana muttered in her head worried. Hana thought for a moment. Why did he try backing away from her? She sighed slumping her shoulders a little unsure, then the rattle of her arrows caught her attention.

'Wait... arrows.' Her eyes widened before she took her bow and quiver off, she put the top of her quiver back on so the arrows didn't fall out before tying it and her bow to A-Un's harness on his side.

"I need to stop this or one of them will die."
