"Damn it!" Inuyasha growled.

"I knew something wasn't right, but the others wouldn't believe me. That's why I was out of the hideaway, I was going to the village Sesshomaru-sama said he resided in." Ai explained.

"Damn, what would Naraku want with the kids anyway?" Shippō muttered. Hana thought for a moment.

"Kagome's writings mentioned that he absorbed other creatures. Yes?" She asked looking over at Inuyasha who nodded.

"Maybe that's why?" She asked.

"Why would he go after hanyō?" Kaida asked.

"He grows desperate, and they're easy target while he's using Kagome's body." Sesshomaru explained.

"Oh." Kaida muttered.

"I don't know what to do." Ai whispered. Inuyasha's ears fell as he leaned over and nuzzled her gently making her close her eyes. Hana couldn't help but look away, for some reason she hated seeing Inuyasha giving that girl affection. She wasn't sure why, she knew it's just because they were close, but she still hated it.

'Damned monthly, making me an emotional mess.' She thought with a soft sigh.

'Hey moron, wanna be more careful about your choices?' Yōki suddenly spoke up making Inuyasha tense for a split moment.

'What?' He asked confused.

'Hana's getting jealous, it was already obvious something was wrong but it's getting worse. Her emotions are getting out of her own hands.' Yōki explained making Inuyasha glance over at Hana seeing her glancing away from them. He sighed softly as he reached over taking her hand making her look at him again.

"What's wrong?" He asked. Hana was silent for a moment before shaking her head with a smile.

"Nothing." She answered.

'Bullshit.' Yōki mumbled. He knew if he were out right now he'd get an answer, but of course he had to be sealed away.

"Anyway, let's get washed off then we need to figure out what to do." Hana said before standing, still covered in mud, and started to walk off.

"I will in a minute, I need to catch my breath." Aia called as she laid back making Kaito chuckle a little. Kaida, however, didn't say much due to her father already taking the initiative to go into his fox form and clean his own child, thankfully all she had was a few drops of mud on her cheek.

'We can't leave her alone, not again.' Yōki growled softly. Inuyasha watched Hana walk away, then he closed his eyes standing up. Shippō noticed this as he paused his work to use his fox magic to speak to Inuyasha so he didn't have to turn back. Shippō's eyes glowed blue as Inuyasha's pupils turned to the same color.

"And where are you going?" Shippō asked, though to the others, it only sounded like foxy chattering. Well, almost all the others, Kaida looked up curious as well hearing her father point out that Inuyasha was leaving too.

"I cannot leave Hana alone again." Inuyasha simply answered.

"Remember what happened the last time you watched a woman bathe? You had a lump on your forehead for weeks." Shippō joked cautiously, bringing up when Kagome caught him watching her bathe back when Shippō was but a kit.

"It's different this time." Inuyasha said before walking away from the group. He walked silently as he followed Hana's scent, then he caught a wife of something that made his heart race.

'Her blood, she's injured?!' Inuyasha panicked, however, this got Yōki lost in thought. Inuyasha could sense this which caused him to still. What was he thinking?
