~Their Salvation~

~Chapter 3~

"Mama they're here!~" Anno chirped. An older lady with grey hair came outside with a smile.

"It is wonderful to finally meet you in person Kasai." She said walking down the steps over to Kasai giving him a gentle hug. Kasai smiled hugging her back.

"It really is, Yanai." She laughed pulling away.

"Hush, I'm your mother in law!" Kasai laughed.

"Yes, yes, sorry.~" Hana sighed glancing to the side. This place was huge, and god was it beautiful.

"Oh and you must be Hana.~" Hana looked over at the older woman.

"You've grown so much!" Hana glanced at her dad feeling very awkward.

"Please, come inside. It's late!" Kasai nodded picking up his bag walking beside Yanai. Hana picked up hers following behind them as they went inside.

"Uncle Kasai!" A little boy chirped hugging Kasai's side.

"Oh my god look how much you've grown!" He said setting his bag down and picking the boy up.

"He refused to go to bed until you got here, and trust me, I tried." A woman who looked to be pregnant came over saying with a soft laugh.

"Were you giving mama a hard time Yoshifumi?" Kasai asked in a scolding tone.

"But I wanted to see you!~" He complained.

"Aww hey, I ain't going anywhere!" Yoshifumi hugged Kasai.

"Hey, wanna meet your cousin Hana?" Yoshifumi perked up.

"Yeah!" Hana gave her father a quick glare before he handed Yoshifumi to her.

"Whoa, you look like uncle Kasai!" He said as Hana held him.

"U-Uh, yeah." She muttered. 

"Ok, now you saw them, time for bed." The woman said crossing her arms.

"Ffffiiinnnneeeee.~" Yoshifumi complained.

"How about I tuck ya in?~" Kasai offered with a grin making Yoshifumi cheer, Hana nearly dropped him losing her grip for a second.

"Yeah!~" Kasai laughed before taking the boy into his arms.

"Spoiled." The woman said.

"I'll take your bag to your room for ya!~" Anno chirped picking it up and walking off.

"Thanks!" Kasai called before following the woman to the boy's room.

"I'll show you to your room." Yanai said before walking, so Hana picked her bag up following her in silence. Once they got to the room Yanai opened it for Hana letting her in.

"This used to be Kagome's room, I came in and cleaned it for you to use. You can always redecorate if you wish to." Yanai said with a soft smile.

"U-Uh, thanks." Hana muttered.

"You know, you remind me a lot of my daughter. She was just as quiet as you are when she was your age." Yanai pointed out making Hana's heart drop.

"Now, you should rest." Yanai said before walking out of the room and closing the door behind her. Hana sighed softly setting her bag down not even bothering to unpack anything. She looked around the room before walking to the desk seeing some stray papers and pencils on it still.

"Odd, these are hundreds of years old." She said softly before looking under the desk to see some books, one stood out, however. It was bright pink with white polka dots and some stickers on it. Hana took it pulling it out looking at it.
