"Your mother?" Hana asked looking up at Sesshomaru.

"Yes, if anyone could confirm or deny such a being as Hahanaru Shizen, it will be her." He muttered.

"Awesome, when do we head out?" Hana asked.

"There's an issue." Hana tilted her head.

"I am unsure how she will react to Inuyasha. After all, his mother took her mate." Hana cringed for a moment.

"Oh, yeah." She strained out.

"None the less, this is important, she might bypass it once she is up to date on the current happenings." Sesshomaru spoke calmly earning a nod.

"Very well then, it is a risk we have to take. I'm sure things won't escalate too far?" Hana asked.

"As far as I'm concerned, no." Hana smiled.

"Then, leave in the morning?"

"Yes."

"Sounds like a plan."

"You should check on Inuyasha, I fear that his beast is now left agitated." Sesshomaru muttered.

"Uhn. Umm, sorry that almost got out of hand." Sesshomaru shook his head.

"I knew he'd snap. I do not trust him, he is cunning." Hana sighed.

"Yes, though, I know to trust him. He has a strong hatred for both Kagome and Naraku, I saw it with my own eyes." Sesshomaru nodded.

"Very well, though, I still will keep an eye on him when he does show himself." Hana nodded.

"Deal. Now, you should rest, Sesshomaru." He nodded.

"You as well, Hana." With that, they parted ways. Hana walked back inside, Shippō had drug Inuyasha inside after he blacked out and started the fire to keep him warm for Hana, so she wasn't worried about doing anything else other than checking on him and going to bed. Hana knelt down beside Inuyasha who laid on his side facing the fire, she leaned over to look at his face.

'Sleeping peacefully, good.' She thought with a smile before she scooted over a little laying on her side, her back facing his.

'I hope that Sesshomaru's just overreacting since she's his mother, though, him overreacting is as rare as a cellphone in this era.' Hana thought as she closed her eyes. There was a silence, the only thing that could be heard was the soft whistles of the wind outside and the crackles from the fire warming the room and cascading a gentle glow upon the two. However, while one slept peacefully, the other could not. She couldn't help it, though several people have told her that her hesitation was valid, it still haunted her. Did Naraku know it would do this? That could be the reason he was so taunting with it. Suddenly, arms wrapped around her making her jump and look back only to see white hair and fluffy ears.

'It'd be nice if you didn't give me heart failure.' Hana thought before letting out a gentle breath relaxing once again. She was used to the close contact the demon gave her, it was oddly comforting to her anyway so she wasn't complaining. If her dad found out she was sleeping this close to a man, he'd have her head.

"Kichōna." He whispered groggily confusing Hana. She put the pendant back on, why was he calling her that?

"Inuyasha?" She asked very softly in case he was talking in his sleep. That was confirmed when he didn't respond making Hana let out a gentle breath before she very carefully turned over and wrapped her arms around him, his face was in her chest. She closed her eyes, and finally, she was finally able to fall asleep.
