"So he's always a prick?" Inuyasha grumbled crossing his arms right before a hand was slapped over his mouth making him nearly jump out of his skin making Kaida giggle.

"As I said, he's just overly protective. I found him near death and healed him years ago when he was but a child, and after that, he swore himself as my servant." Haha explained before taking a sip of the tea she had just made, most of the group had taken her offer other than Sesshomaru of course.

"I don't blame him, I'd be the same way." Hana admitted as she lowered her hand away from Inuyasha's mouth.

"Sounds familiar." Shippō said in a teasing manner as he gently elbowed Inuyasha's arm making him roll his eyes even though he knew his foxy friend was right.

"Oh, uh, by the way, Hahanaru." Hana spoke up making everyone look over at her.

"Thank you, for the necklace I mean, without it I wouldn't have been able to reveal Naraku to the half-breeds. He posed at Kagome to wiggle his way in and use them." Hana said with a gentle smile.

"Yeah, it was so cool! Well, scary, then cool!" Kaida chirped before jumping down from her father's lap to the floor.

"Hana was so brave too! She was all like "I have an offer for you, Kagome." and then she said how priestesses can't harm another and told Naraku to prove that he was actually Kagome, they'd shoot each other. Now that was the scary part, we didn't want Hana to get hurt, but she refused to back down like a true warrior!" Kaida said as she tried to imitate everything she was explaining. Hahanaru giggled at this, she couldn't help it, she was so sweet.

"Then, Hana's arrow glowed really brightly! Naraku didn't do it for a while, but he finally did, then Asagi finally realize he was fake. Then, after a while, shweeoo! The arrows flew at the other and then SHPAH!!! Naraku had an arrow in his heart, but his arrow only hovered right above Hana's, then her necklace glowed and it shattered like it was nothing!" Kaida said, adding in sound effects as well amusing everyone in the room.

"I see, that was very brave of you Hana, but promise to never do a showdown like that again." Hahanaru said with a sweet smile to Kaida, then took a serious tone with Hana.

"I mean... I don't plan on it, but why may I ask?" Hana muttered as Kaida jumped up on her father's lap once more.

"You are right, priestesses cannot harm another of their own kind. However..." Hahanaru trailed off, she seemed unnerved. Inuyasha thought for a moment, then leand over to his foxy friend.

"Hey, mind causing a distraction so I can talk to Hananaru alone?" He whispered ever so softly, the only other person who heard was Sesshomaru.

"S-"

"I got this!" Kaida chirped before jumping right out the window hopping about.

"Look at this butterfly!~" She called making the others look where she was.

"Did you really have to jump out the window that's right next to an open door??" Her father asked before getting up and walking outside. Inuyasha spared Hahanaru a knowing glance, so, she played along.

"Oh cute little thing, must've become restless. You all look like you need a break before going back to the serious stuff, we can continue this when Biwamaru is back." She said with a warm smile.

"But it sounded imp-" Hana started only for Hahanaru to wave it off.

"It is alright Hana, go." Hana hesitated greatly making Inuyasha's ears fall a little, it's obvious she's worried about her. She finally sighed and got up with a smile.

"Race ya!" Hana said with a grin to Aia and Kaito before dashing off.

"No fair!" Kaito called dashing off as well.

"Hey!" Aia soon followed. Sesshomaru, already knowing something was up, didn't bother asking questions and merely walked out as well. Once the others were out of earshot, Inuyasha sighed heavily.

"You can't hide it forever, Nitta." Inuyasha said in a calm but the tiniest, slightest hint of sternness. She was silent, but only for a moment, then looked down to the floor.

"How can you tell your child who's already said goodbye to you "hello," Inuyasha?" She asked in a soft tone. Inuyasha parted his lips to speak, and yet, nothing came out.

"I hardly believe she'd take me seriously, she might even grow angry." She said as she looked out the window where Hana was now playing with Kaida and Aia while Kaito seemed to be talking with Sesshomaru about something.

"There... There has to be something only you and her would know that you can say to her so she'd know. Right?" Inuyasha asked still unsure how to answer something like that.

"Possibly, but I don't have the future memories so I wouldn't know." She admitted.

"Then how do you know she's your child?" Inuyasha asked.

"You know that pink flame you've seen interacting with Hana?" She asked earning a nod.

"Once I died in the future, I sent my soul back to update current me on what I need to do to stop the upcoming war that you all have caught onto I'm sure."

"Do... Do you know how you died?" Inuyasha asked reluctantly. She seemed to be thoughtful, then nodded.

"I wonder if that'd work?" Inuyasha gave a confused look. She smiled softly and reached her hand out to him.

"I want to show you something." Still confused, but not wanting to say no, he gently took her hand silently.

"Close your eyes, clear your mind, and breathe." Inuyasha nodded, closed his eyes, cleared his mind, and focussed on his breathing.

"Good."
