Hana's eyes fluttered open, then she slowly sat up. She took a moment before reaching up and gently touching her throat, there was no pain. She got up as she took the wraps off letting them fall to the floor, then she walked to the mirror in the room to look, no bruises, not even red or inflamed.
'I need answers.' Hana walked out of her room and walked downstairs. She looked around, for a moment, then saw Inuyasha talking to Yanai and her father in the kitchen. She walked over to the two.
"Inuyasha, we need to talk, now." Inuyasha and her father quickly looked over. Inuyasha stared for a moment with a surprised look in his eye.
"How-"
"I'll explain later, come on." Hana said before taking Inuyasha's hand and nearly dragging him outside. Kasai blinked a couple of times before looking at his mother in law.
"What kind of medical cure-all did you put in that tea?" He asked while Yanai only stayed silent, watching her granddaughter and Inuyasha step out into the snow.
"Inuyasha, take the pendant off." Inuyasha's eyes grew wide.
"What, why?"
"Just do it Inuyasha!" Hana snapped sternly only confusing Inuyasha more.
'Something happened, she shouldn't have healed that fast.' Inuyasha hesitated for a moment.
"Tell me what's going on first." He spoke sternly.
"Your beast, it was created by Naraku in the first place, right?"
"Yeah?"
"Then he must know something about what Naraku is doing, I need to talk to it directly." Inuyasha looked at Hana for a moment.
"Isn't that risky?"
"Inuyasha, just do it." Inuyasha sighed softly, then, he did as told. He dropped the pendant in the snow, and thankfully unlike last time, it wasn't a long and painful process. His heard pounded a couple of times before his beast settled in the driver's seat, his eyes opening so Hana could see those familiar sky blue irises.
"I need you to tell me what you know about Naraku." Hana spoke, skipping to the main point of this. The beast stared for a moment, then a gentle smile pulled at his lips.
"Now why would you think I'd know of him?" He asked in a fake innocent tone.
"He made you, and if Kagome's writings are true, Naraku's creatures have a least a little knowledge of his intent. Whatever he may be wishing for at the given moment. What was the point of him making you, and now, what could he want? Doesn't he still have the Shikon no Tama?" Hana asked. The smile on the beast's face faded, a serious look in his eye shimmering.
"I do not know much, Kichōna." He admitted.
"Tell me what you do know." Hana insisted. Inuyasha's beast let out a gentle breath before crossing his arms.
"Sesshomaru was right about one thing, Naraku made me so Inuyasha would do his dirty work." He started.
"I am unsure of what he could want for sure, but I have a pretty close guess." He looked Hana in the eye.
"Destroy the world as we know it, and reshape it to his twisted, sickening wants." Hana nodded.
"Sounds like a typical villainous wish. Though I do know how Naraku came to be, but, I don't understand why." Hana said.
"Simple, Naraku is as foolish as Inuyasha, falling for a human." He mocked with a playful tone before turning serious once again.
"Naraku was born from a human named Onigumo, a bandit that was rescued and nursed back to health by Kikyō, Inuyasha's first human interest, and Kagome's ancestor. Soon, his heart was captured. Growing desperate, he fed his body to the yōkai residing in the mountains which resulted in Naraku." The beast explained as simply as he could.
"Does he still wish for Kikyō's heart?" Hana asked.
"I highly doubt it, he's nothing but a corrupted man who's power-hungry." The beast muttered.
"So, we can only guess he wishes for world domination. So does he have the Shikon no Tama still?" Hana asked.
"No, he used it to create me. Though, that's an interesting feat." The beast said with a slight laugh.
"What do you mean?" Hana asked.
"The thing is, Inuyasha has another mystical relic sealed within him. It's called the Kuroshinju, a black pearl relic his father sealed in Inuyasha's eye which leads to the realm known as 'the other side' which is where his father's body rots away." His beast explained once again.
"Ok?"
"Well, the Shikon no Tama seemed to fuse with it. My best guess is the Shikon no Tama used it to transport itself to the realm to hide from Naraku." Hana thought for a moment.
"Ok, so how does Inuyasha use it?" His beast laughed.
"About that. The only one who can use it is Sesshomaru's gremlin Jaken, and, well, he's not here." Hana gave a confused look.
"The lil' shit possesses a staff called Nintōjō, it can activate the pearl's power. Plus, there's the whole having to rip the pearl out of Inuyasha's eye part as well."
"Rip it out of his eye?!" Hana's eyes were wide now.
"It's been done before, how else would he have gotten the Tessaiga?"
"That's how he got the Tessaiga?" The beast nodded.
"Hmm, ok. So, that's where the Shikon no Tama might be, it's most likely safest there for now." Hana muttered.
"Kichōna." The beast spoke up making her look him in the eye.
"How have you healed so quickly?" He asked before gently tracing a couple of claws on Hana's throat tickling her, but she refrained her laughter.
"The Tsuki no shukufuku that seals you, it possesses Inuyasha's father's essence. Due to you actually being calm for once, he took the chance to turn away from you to speak to me. He healed my throat so I could speak to you as soon as possible, time is running out after all." Hana explained, suddenly, a growl came from the beast.
"So he's the reason I'm imprisoned." He snarled.
"The reason you're imprisoned is because you tried to kill anything in your path, so before you start pointing fingers like a child, learn how to take responsibility for your actions." Hana spoke sternly. The beast stayed silent for a moment, then a grin fell upon his lips.
"Oh, how lovely you are, Kichōna." He whispered.
"Don't try to flatter me so I get distracted from our topic." Hana muttered.
"Oh, I'm not Kichōna." He said.
"And you mock Inuyasha for falling for a human?" Hana asked raising a brow.
"I do because he, unlike I, cannot sense a person's true aura."
"True aura?" Hana asked. He smiled before moving his hand from her throat to gently hold her cheek, the other pressing gently against her lower back pulling her closer.
"Yes, Kichōna, and may I say." He started before leaning close to her ear.
"You, my dear, are simply divine.~" He growled huskily into her ear making her tense a little. She felt the hand that was pressed against her back twitch a little, then the beast sighed.
"Coward." He whispered as he pulled back.
"What?" Hana asked a little offended.
"Not you, Kichōna." He said softly before letting her go.
"Unless you have any more questions, Inuyasha grows agitated." He said before rolling his eyes.
"Agitated by what you had just said?"
"Kami only knows with this moron." He muttered. Hana sighed.
"As of now, no, I do not." Hana said truthfully.
"Very well, Kichōna. If you wish to speak to me, you know who to call.~" He with a seductive grin.
"If you have more input, let us know." Hana said with a gentle smile.
"Very well, Kichōna." He spoke softly.
