~Chapter 12~

"Alright, Inuyasha, NO hurting anyone unless I say so! Understood?" Hana scolded. Inuyasha stared for a moment before the beads glowed.

"I'll take that as a yes." Hana, A-Un, and Inuyasha walked out of the trees to see Eiko, Aia, Kaito, and Shippō talking to Sesshomaru.

"I'm back!~" Hana called waving a hand. Aia looked over and shifted behind Shippō nervously.

"It's fine, he's being a good boy right now.~" She cooed making Inuyasha's ears perk up.

"So you really did tame him?" Aia asked softly.

"Uh, more like put a leash on him. Oh! Sesshy I need your help with somethin'." He glared.

"I told you to not call me that." Hana brushed his comment off as she brought a hand up for Myōga to jump on. She walked over holding her hand out to Sesshomaru.

"Long time no see Lord Sesshomaru." Myōga greeted politely before jumping onto his shoulder so Hana could put her hand down.

"Surprised to see you here." Sesshomaru commented shifting his Mokomoko-san so he could see Myōga better.

"So what do you need?" He asked.

"Well, I may know a way to help Inuyasha. Your father left me a riddle that may relate to these events." Myōga stated.

"Go on." Sesshomaru said curiously. Meanwhile, Hana was standing beside Inuyasha while he watched a butterfly flutter by.

"If darkness consumes, you need the light, go to where history started, here is where light will shine. This is what he told me." Sesshomaru went silent for a moment.

"But we don't know which history." Hana clarified.

"Inuyasha's." Sesshomaru spoke softly.

"Wait, do you think he means the place Inuyasha was born and Master Inu no Taiso died?" Myōga asked.

"It has to be." Sesshomaru muttered.

"Where was he born?" Shippō asked looking up at Sesshomaru.

"His mother was a princess, so an empire of course." Sesshomaru said before crossing his arms.

"I know how to get there, but what are we looking for?" Sesshomaru asked softly.

"Uh, m-maybe your dad's body?" Hana asked reluctantly.

"No, that was sent to another realm." Hana froze.

"Ok, wait, uh, not to be that gal but how does that work???" Hana drew out the word 'work' in a very confused tone.

"That's not what's important right now." Sesshomaru growled softly.

"Well, We won't know until we look." Shippō said stretching.

"Will you be ok to travel?!" Aia asked worriedly.

"You kidding? I feel fine!~" He said with a grin. 

"Oh! Right, hold on." Hana faced Inuyasha clicking her fingers gaining his attention.

"Down boy!" She commanded, he knelt down like before.

"Good boy." Hana said before walking over to Shippō taking his hand making him come close to Inuyasha. She moved his hand by Inuyasha's face, his nose twitched taking in his scent.

"It's Shippō Inuyasha, he grew up and even has a daughter now." Inuyasha's ears flicked pulling away a little. Hana let Shippō go and faced the others.

"Aia get over here."

"No way!" Aia said now hiding behind her brother. Hana sighed walking over taking her hand.

"I'm fine over here!"

"You owe me Aia." She hesitated but sighed.

"Yeah." Hana brought Aia by Inuyasha, repeating the same thing as before. He took in her scent as his ears flicked with curiosity.

"This is my friend, Aia. She's Sango and Miroku's many greats granddaughter." His ears perked up when Hana said Sango and Miroku's names.

"Yeah, they had a family.~" Hana spoke sweetly.

"Aia also has a twin brother." Hana let Aia go.

"Katio." Hana said looking over her shoulder. He hesitated but walked over giving his hand to Hana. Inuyasha took in his scent as well.

"Ok, now you know the group, we should get going." Hana stood up.

"When will you be back papa?" Shippō looked down at his daughter.

"Soon love, do not worry.~" He said picking her up and hugging her with a smile.

"Ok, so who all is going?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Hmm, well me, Inuyasha, Myōga, Shippō, A-Un, uh Kaito, Aia you guys wanna come?" Hana asked tilting her head.

"Well." Aia trailed off before sighing.

"I'd be a bad friend if I didn't come with you." She said smiling now feeling safer around Inuyasha.

"Where she goes, I go." Kaito said with a modest smile.

"Me, Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, Myōga, Shippō, A-Un, Kaito, and Aia. One hell of a team!~" Hana said with a bright smile. Inuyasha looking up at Hana watching her joy.

"Then gather your things, we're leaving." Sesshomaru commanded.

"Uh, well I have my things already so." Hana trailed off before walking over to A-Un getting her bow and arrows. Inuyasha let out a small growl making her quickly look back, he was looking at her.

"Hmm?" She looked at her bow.

"Oh, right." She put them on before walking closer making him growl louder.

"Shh.~" She hushed him before kneeling down on one knee in front of him.

"I'm not going to use it on you Inuyasha, I'm not Kagome." Hana spoke softly, his growling slowly ceased making her smile.

"Now, let's go down memory lane eh?" Hana stood up clicking her fingers pointing up making Inuyasha stand up.

"You really do have him tamed." Hana looked over to see Aia with a large boomerang on her back.

"Whoa." Hana whispered making Aia smile.

"It's been passed down in my family for a long time.~" Aia said patting it.

"Same with this." Kaito said holding his staff out as he walked up beside his sister.

"Be a good girl Kaida." Shippō said giving his daughter one last pat before putting her down.

"Yes sir!~" She said saluting him with a smile.

"Alright, let's go then." Sesshomaru said before he turned and started walking. Hana took Inuyasha's hand pulling him with her as she caught up to Sesshomaru walking beside him. When they reached a dirt path beside what looked to be a large ocean Hana ran in front of Sesshomaru to the edge looking out.

"Whoa.~" Hana's eyes sparkled at the sight. She heard someone walk beside her so she looked to see Aia, then Kaito walked beside her as well.

"It's beautiful, huh?" Aia asked looking out with Hana.

"Yeah." Hana muttered.

"We'll be seeing a lot of pretty sights while we travel!" Shippō said walking behind the three looking out himself with a smile feeling nostalgia washing over him. Hana looked over her shoulder seeing Inuyasha looking up at Sesshomaru, he was only about a foot taller then Inuyasha now. Hana smiled closing her eyes.
