Wednesday, 10:53 P.M. EST
I never make it a habit of requesting a break at damned near 11 PM, but the excitement still lingering from my conversation with Ren definitely made it harder to sleep. Even my sleeping meds couldn't block it!
Whatever they have her taking, though? That shit knocked her the fuck out!
Ryan swings open the heavy metal door leading to the roof, and turns around to face me. “Okay! Okay! Now what’s the big deal?!” he asks with an excitement to match the one I’d tried and failed to hold in on our way up here.
I leap into his arms as soon as he asks, the excitement still pulsing through my body as I do. “I’m top dog and I fucking win!” I giggle.
Ryan jumps with me once I let myself fall from his arms, but confusion is visible on his face. He waits for me to finish my happy dance before he questions it though.
“Huh?” he asks with a small laugh. “What do you mean, ‘top dog?’ What’s that mean?”
I calm myself down enough to straighten my posture and unravel the shirt that rode halfway up my torso when I jumped into his arms. I look at him wearing a smile on my face that could win an award.
When I speak, my voice is so clearly Jena’s that it shocks me. “I win. I’ll always fucking win!” I say with no further explanation.
He’s confused again, but I don’t care to elaborate. My mind is racing a mile a minute, and I’m too excited to sit back and try to pick a track to follow.
It’s been so long since my mind has raced like this…
The next thing I know, I’m pressing myself into him and demanding a kiss with my lips on his.
It doesn’t take long before he responds, pulling me closer while he tries to keep up with my monster. She woke up so easily, but something seems different.
I’m not sure if it’s the excitement she feels having found that she’s victorious? Or maybe the anger she holds thinking about Ty?
But something inside of me… something foreign to even her washes over us with a quickness we can’t keep up with.
I pull myself away from Ryan, leaving him out of breath and confused long enough for him to try to question it.
“What was that for?” he asks, trying not to blush as he hides his smile. “You’re in a relation-“
I shush him, focusing in on a voice I don’t think I’ve ever heard before.
“Don’t speak,” I tell him with little knowledge of doing so.
He’s still in shock but accepts his role, nodding his head in agreement.
Before I know it, I’m lowering myself to my knees in front of him, and pulling his pants down with me.
