Thursday, 9:16 P.M. EST

It’s my birthday; Harlee’s too. We’re at the Limelight Hotel in Aspen with Harper, Ty, and Gage- a trip Mama Gold was reluctant to send us on because I was recently caught drinking at one of Ty and Gage’s parties.

But in the end, she let us all come here, and we’re having a fucking blast!

Harper and Harlee went back to our suite, the heat of the pool not good enough for them when it comes to the chill in the night air of Colorado.

And I don’t even know where Gage is!

They stopped drinking a while ago, but I had to keep up with Ty, so the alcohol still has my blood heated where the pool can’t.

Ty resurfaces from the underwater swim he’d taken hoping to warm his chilled head. He must have swam up closer to me than intended based on the look on his face.

“Woah… hello there,” he says with a slur, his eyes wandering to where my chest meets the water.

“Hello…” I say back, trying to keep my cool.

The gentle waves residual from his swim keeps swaying his body toward mine though; And each time it does, the water, pressed by his weight it as it rocks, brushes again my bare torso.

I can hear my monster stir.

Ty is drunk, and I always catch him trying to get slick when he’s drunk. I could probably treat my monster if I played my cards right...

“Happy… birthday…” he says, trying to find words to distract me from the fact that he’s clearly checking me out. Once he realizes that I’m aware, he grows flustered.

I just got to see Tyler fucking Robson flustered! No- I flustered him!

Ty and Harlee only recently stopped pretending to be together, and broke up. I’m pretty sure he’s already seeing another girl; Sophie, maybe? I’d feel flustered too if I were checking out my ex’s sister on a trip that’s supposed to save the friendship I had with my ex in the first place!

I laugh; I can’t help it. “Thank you,” I giggle.

Ty says nothing in response, but doesn’t react when the gentle waves push his body closer and closer to mine until his hand finds my hip. It’s a gentle brush the first time, but a little more purposeful when he "tries” to correct it.

I could die right now.

My whole body tingles. I’m in a heated pool, but the only thing I can feel is his hand when it makes it’s way back to my hip, with full intention this time as it travels up my side.

He steps closer to me, abandoning the wave’s assistance and filling in the space between us on his own. He brings his other hand to my opposite hip, grasping it for a second before allowing that had to travel up my side too.

My breathing grows heavy, but I try to keep myself together. Before I know it though, he pulls away shaking his head as if he’d done something wrong.

“I’m sorry…” he mutters, “I didn’t mean to-“

I cut him off with a kiss before I process that I’m doing it. I press my body into his and I wrap my arms around his neck. We’re both shocked, but I can’t stop myself. I lift myself until I can wrap my legs around his waist.

He wastes no time responding, wrapping his arms around me until we’re so close that water spurts up between us.

A few moments pass before we both pull away, panting heavy to fill the silence we leave between us.

Ty breaks the silence, his words still slurred between his panting. “I know this doesn’t mean much to you…” he says, a smile that could melt my heart spread across his lips. “But I’d really like to do that sober.”
