I had a moment of questioning whether I should follow through with this given the new developments in my quest against Ren.
I mean, I was only after Evan in an attempt to break Ren down by showing her that she isn’t shit. She thought she was the Big Bad because of her sexual relations with the man, and I was going to snatch the rug from beneath her feet!
But she was lying about Evan the whole time!
I should probably focus my energy on using Dan to break her. He can confirm that he was an actual thing that happened, and not just some lie Ren is running around telling for God knows what reason.
I could even just call her out on her bullshit! That’d probably break her just as bad!
But let’s be real, Jena and her monster are already too far gone. It’s safe to say she’s been on some kind of bender because of the whole Ty situation… Just calling her out wouldn’t be enough for her.
Evan’s hands roam my body, finding all the spots her monster favors. He groans, breathing heavily as he lays me down on his desk. He lifts my shirt up to plant kisses all up and down my torso; even the small bulge starting to develop because of the baby.
“What’s going on with the father?” He asks between the kisses. “Is he a deadbeat or something? Why so much promiscuity in your files if you’re in a happy relationship?”
He didn’t tell me he’s read my files, but I guess I should’ve expected it with him being the ward lead and all.
I don’t bother to explain that the “promiscuity” is just a result of one of my ‘personalities’ sex addiction, and has nothing to do with the "happy relationship” he’d read about.
That’s not the truth anymore though, is it?
“He cheated on me,” I respond behind Jena’s monster screaming in my mind.
She doesn’t want to think about Ty.
I try to pull Evan up to where he’ll rest between my legs, but he resists and instead continues to kiss along both of my hips.
“That doesn’t sound like a happy relationship to me,” he says between them.
“Are any relationships happy?” I ask after a moment. It’s an honest question.
Evan pauses his mix of kisses and soft bites to sit up and look at me. “I’m pretty happy in mine,” he says with confidence.
… What the fuck?
“So why are you doing this?” I ask, not even bothering to hold back and let him continue for the sake of Jena’s monster.
Evan looks as if he contemplates his response. “I like you,” he says after a moment.
Great. This again.
What is up with the people here, and thinking they like someone just because things get a little sexual? Can’t they just hit it and move on like every other guy does?
“You don’t know me,” I tell him with a sigh I can’t hold back.
He doesn’t take too long to respond. “I’ve read your files,” he says matter-of-factly.
I roll my eyes, letting out a more frustrated sigh. “And what could you have possibly found out in doing that?” I ask. flattening my brows,
He slides my pants off, his eyes intent on mine as he does. He slowly lowers himself between my legs, a small smile forming on his lips just before brushing against my already swollen with excitement lips.
“I learned that you need this,” he says before kissing them.
That’s the end of the conversation.
