Scene 24 – To forgive the ones we love
2 years later…
Kitang kita sa mga bata ang pagiging excited ng mga ito ngayon dahil mamamasyal silang pamilya ngayon. Sa sobrang busy ni Aiden nitong mga nakaraan buwan dahil sa trabaho ay minsan nalang silang lumabas na silang lahat. Kaya ngayon ay bumabawi si Aiden sa kanila.
Sila Maddox at Tatum ay sumasayaw-sayaw kasama ni Kieran na pilit kumakanta. Napatawa si Clara nang biglang huminto si Kieran sa pag kanta at sumabay sa hinto ang kambal. Biglang kanta ulit ni Kieran at sumayaw ang dalawa. Paulit-ulit ginawa ni Kieran ito na kinatuwa naman ng kambal.
Nang mukhang napagod si Kieran sa pagkanta ay tumalon ito sa couch, yung kambal naman ay sumunod at sabay hinatak ang braso ni Kieran, “Ran, sing!” utos ni Maddox.
“Ran, dance!” sabi naman ni Tatum.
“I’m not a dog.” Protesta ni Kieran, tas lumapit ito kay Tatum ay malakas na binulong, “Maddox is.”
Tatum grinned and said, “Mad dog.” Lumingon ito sa kakambal at biniro, “Arf arf, say arf, Mad.”
“Mommy!” Maddox ran to Clara, his hands scratching his eyes.
Clara picked him up and sat him on her lap, “Don’t cry. You can have the largest portion later with the cake.”
“Mommy, that’s not fair! I helped!” Kieran protested, “And I’m the oldest.”
“And Maddox is the youngest.”
Maddox pulled away and frowned at Clara, “No. Tatum.” he said as he pointed Tatum.
“Tatum?” Tatum asked pointing her finger at her chest.
Clara sighed, truth was she didn’t know who was the oldest or youngest between the two, she had a C-section with the twins, they said it was Maddox who they got first but did that mean he was the oldest just because he was the first they took out of her womb? She didn’t know. Aiden wanted Maddox to be the oldest so Tatum would really be his little girl, the youngest.
He said, it seemed right that a girl was the youngest, talk about being sexist.
“Well, you’re twins so you’re both the youngest and Ran is the oldest.” She reasoned out, when she noticed Maddox was going to argue she started, “Why don’t you all go change so we can be ready when daddy arrives?”
Maddox seemingly forgotten about the argument bobbed his head and grabbed Tatum’s hand and led her back to the nursery, “Tatum, come.”
Kieran stayed of course so Clara raised her eyebrow at him, “Go change, Kieran. Then look after your brother and sister, I’m going to check the cake then take a bath.”
