Scene 67 – Bring back our son
The house was full of activity, the living area was now full of telecommunication devices, and people were all around the house. Clara was frantically pacing, her hands shaking as she thought of what might happen to her son.
The other kids along with Cass’s children and Anya’s children were brought to the Governor’s Mansion for safety.
Her in-laws were flying from DC back here in Chicago. The house was swimming with agents from government’s agencies, Secret Service, Homeland Security, CIA and the FBI.
They had been trying to locate her son’s location with no luck.
All they found out was Kieran was taken by a group of mercenaries paid by the Moreno Cartel. They were good, for they slipped without anyone noticing and the whole house was surrounded by Secret Service along with the security details of the Earl and Countess and the Crown Prince and Princess.
No one noticed it. And now, her son was paying the price for their stupidity.
She sat down, her hands covering her face as she tried to calm down, she couldn’t. Her son was gone and they couldn’t find him.
They were all waiting for the ransom demand.
“They’re going to find him.” Cassandra said.
This was her fault, if she hadn’t been in her room all day, she could have watched her son. She raised her head, her gaze toward the corner of the room where Aiden was standing.
He was worried about their son. He was back but she didn’t want him to come back because of this.
Her gaze landed to Ralphe who was talking with the FBI Assistant Director. It was him who noticed Kieran was nowhere to be seen. That he hadn’t make his appearance even after Cassandra got here and that was weird.
Her head spun as she heard her in-laws coming in, she rose and went toward Melissa’s waiting arms, “It’s going to be okay, Clara.”
“We will do everything in our power to bring back Kieran.” Richard Spence said.
She nodded. She watched as her in-laws walked toward Ralphe and the FBI Assistant Director, they shook hands and Clara sat down.
She said a little prayer to God then, please, protect my child.

“We got a call!”one of the technicians yelled, everyone rose, Clara made her way to the table where it was filled with laptops and those other things they needed to use.
“Answer it.” Richard said, giving her the phone.
