Scene 56 – You’re going to burn
Pagkababa ni Clara sa kotse ay agad siyang sinalubong ng mga anak niya, lumuhod siya at niyakap ang tatlo habang tumatawa, “I miss you too my sweets.” At isa isang hinalikan sa pisngi ang mga anak.
Umalis sila sa pagkayakap at tumingala kay Ralphe na nasa gilid ni Clara, sinamaan nila ng tingin si Ralphe, “Hi guys.” Bati ni Ralphe.
Inirapan ng tatlo si Ralphe, pero nahalata ni Clara na gustong gustong lumapit ni Tatum kay Ralphe pinipigilan lang din. Napabuntong hininga si Clara, eto ang ginawa niya. Dahil sa galit at takot niya, ang mga bata na ang umiwas kay Ralphe.
“Kids, say hello to Uncle Ralphe.” Utos niya sa tatlo.
Sabay ang tatlong napatingin sa kanya na nagtataka, siguro nga nakakapagtaka para sa kanila lalo’t na pinagbawalan niya ang mga ito na kausapin si Ralphe. Ngumiti siya sa tatlo.
Tatum squealed and jumped unto Ralphe’s waiting arms. “Uncle Ralphe!”
Tumawa ng marahan si Ralphe habang iniikot si Tatum sa era, pagkatapos ay nginitian si Tatum, “So I’m not Uncle Rap anymore?”
Umiling si Tatum, “I can say your name properly now!”
“That’s good, after all, I’m going to put a flag with your face in the sun.” he grinned at Tatum.
Tatum giggled, “Uncle Ralphe, you’re silly. You’re going to burn if you to the sun.”
Ralphe frowned, “I am? Well then I guess, I’ll just put the flag in the moon.”
Clara just smiled, she didn’t know what they were talking about anyway. She watched Kieran as he stepped closer to Ralphe, Ralphe put Tatum down and faced Kieran who was staring at the box he was holding.
Clara bit back her smile, of course, Kieran would notice.
“I bought a cake for you.”
Kieran looked up then down as though he was thinking over things. His gaze left the box and landed on Ralphe. “You won’t make mommy cry, anymore?” he asked.
Ralphe shook his head, “I won’t.”
Kieran nodded, “Did you say sorry to mommy?”
Ralphe shook his head, “I haven’t.”
“You have to!” Kieran exclaimed before pouting and staring down at the box.
Ralphe turned to Clara and smiled, “I’m sorry.”
As soon as the words came out, Kieran grabbed the box from Ralphe’s and ran back to the house with the twins in his tail.
