Scene 44 – Only if it causes harm

Not that he cared. He was pissed at her. Damn her for cheating on him.

Pangatlong interview na nila to at wala parin ang nakakapansin na hindi sila okay, nakikita ng lahat na magkaibigan sila at kinikilig sila sa mga nakikita nila. Hindi nila alam maling mali sila.

Truth was he was hurt. So damn hurt. He loved Clara. He never thought she could do that. Not his Clara. He knew even before that Clara had always held a crush on him so it frustrated him to question why she’d do that.

What was done was done. He couldn’t do anything anymore.

But damn it if her betrayal still didn’t stop his obsession with Kieran and the twins.

He was still fascinated with them. He just stopped.

That was why, during the interviews he’d bring sweets with him and they’d share it while talking about their lives. Of course, when Clara was only gone. Clara would never want him near her kids. She was so damn pissed off at him and he didn’t even know why. The hell, he was the one who had the right to be pissed off not her.

As soon as he opened the door, Tatum ran to him and held up her hands showing him a paper. He leaned down and smiled at her, “Very good, Tate.”

“It’s you!”

It was a drawing of a man in an astronaut costume on top of the sun of course. “I look divinely handsome.”

She beamed at him, the boys were by her side grinning at her so proud of their sister. “Look, the sun! You will be the first to go there!” she said excitedly.

Ralphe of course didn’t have the heart to tell her that if he ever go near the sun, he’d burn. What was the use anyway? “I know. I’ll even put a flag with your face.”

She jumped happily, “I draw better than Isobel, hmm?” she asked.

“Well princess, I’ve never seen Isobel’s drawing but I’ll take your word.”

Suddenly though, Kieran pushed a tablet on him and Ralphe grabbed it and looked at the picture, “That’s Isobel’s.” he murmured.

Of course it was. Isobel sure did get her mother’s talent. The drawing was James sitting behind his desk. It was great Ralphe had to admit. He gave Kieran the tablet and turned to Tatum who was looking at him expectantly, “Yes you do. You’re the best.”

She squealed in delight and ran in circle with Maddox celebrating with her. Kieran was by his side after picking up the paper and handing it to him. “Lying is bad.” He whispered.
