Before I could even answer, my phone started ringing. It was Brinah..
Phone convo Tima- Hey boo wassup?
Brinah- Pleeeeease come to the hospital! It's time..
Tima- On my way. Just hold tight I'll be there in 10.
End convo
"Babe that was Brinah, she's having the baby now," I said. I was frantically trynna get my purse, charger, jackets, and thoughts all together.
"Are you gonna give me an answer? I mean I did just propose."
"Babe can this wait? I need to be there for her."
"It's either yes or no, really. Takes only two seconds to answer." At this point he was pissing me off.
"Look you riding or not? I gotta go." He said nothing, grabbing his jacket following behind me.
I locked up the house and proceeded to my car. Once we got in, I wasted no time pulling off. I don't even think I put on my seatbelt. I had so much going on in my mind. Praying that Brinah has a safe delivery. And praying that God give me a sign so I can decide if I wanna marry Trè or not.
Yes, I love him and I'd do anything for him. I sat by his side for months, waiting hopefully for him to wake up. I was with him thru physical therapy and him gaining his memory back. But, I feel we're moving too fast. I feel we don't really know each other like that.
When I told Brinah I'd be here in 10, I was dead ass serious. I pulled up and hopped out so quick, you'd have thought I was the baby daddy. I texted Meechy to find out what room she's in. Eventually when he texted back, I bolted towards the room.
"Aww my baby," I said, walking in. "What's the update?"
"They say I'm not dilated far enough, yet."
"Ooh God. We might be here all night," I complained.
"Don't say that," Brinah whined. "I knew I shouldn't have had your big head ass kids," she said to Meechy. He laughed, looking nervous as hell.
"Bro, you good?," Trè asked him.
"Yea. Shit just bouta get real. You good tho?"
"Nahh bro. She said no," he said.
I smacked my lips, " no I did not, but I'm about to cuz you're really starting to piss me off."
