Trevante, known in the streets as Trè, has owned his own tattoo shop well over a year now. His success is beyond what he ever imagined it to be. The only thing missing in his life is a lady by his side.

Today was the day that I move in, temporarily, with Tré. And I have mixed feelings about it, honestly. It's cool because maybe this'll fix whatever we have going on and I feel safe with him. But, it's awkward because of where we are right now and he has a kid on the way with someone else, allegedly.
I hope for the best for them but, I can't lie and say I'm happy about the situation. I wanted to be the first to have his kids and be his wife, just not so soon. This past year has been a rollercoaster and I don't know if I wanna ride along anymore.
"That's the last bag?," Tré asked. I'd bright enough stuff for a months stay here. Simply because I didn't know how this whole thing was gonna go.
"Yea, thanks for helping me."
"No problem. Once you get all settled in, we need to talk. So just text me when you're done," he said.
"Okay. It shouldn't take long."
He closed the door to the guest room I was staying in. Taking out my essentials and deciding to hang my clothes up later, I text him and he said meet him in the living room.
"So, you wanna talk?" I asked.
"Yea, I want you to come with me to the trap real quick," he said.
"That's it? I mean you could've texted me that," I said. He chuckled and shook his head.
"Nahh, I wanna apologize for how I've been treating you the past couple weeks. You're somebody I love and I shouldn't have disrespected you like that."
"It's cool, Tré," I said, lowly. "I deserved it."
"No, you didn't. And I promise it'll never happen again."
"Well, thanks. I accept your apology."
"Alright, uhm I'm about to head out. So, grab whatever it is you need to take with you," he said. I nodded and went to grab my phone, wallet and jacket.
This was weird because in all the time I've known him, he's never asked me to go with him to the trap. Which means something is up. Or he just doesn't want me alone. But, I could've stayed with Brinah for a while til he got back, if that was the case.
We pulled off towards our destination and it was kinda silent, aside from the radio playing. Then, he handed me the aux cord. I took it and played some Summer walker. She's been a mood for the past couple days.
"When's graduation?" He asked. I smiled to myself.
"A few weeks from now. I'm basically done tho. All my work is turned in and I took my finals last week. So, I just gotta walk."
"Bet. You wanna have a party? Or just sumn light?"
"A party," I laughed. "I think I deserve it. I mean I really bussed my ass to get to where I am."
"Ok, I agree," he said, pulling up in front of the trap. "Just give me a little time to handle this shit. Then, we can plan ya party."
"Alright, plus we have the wedding coming up. So, I might just hold off on the party."
