So, far New York has been treating ya girl good. Vena has been helping me look at potential store fronts for my upcoming store. I'm thinking of opening a physical location after doing it online first.

We've been shopping, she's been showing me around, and I've been hanging with Dave a lot lately.

Not in that way...I see him as a friend, more than someone I'm trying to date. I'm still not over Tré and I think Dave is still dealing with his baby mama. So, we don't really have time for a relationship, honestly.

I have a couple of days left in this big city and Vena and I are on our way out to have a girls night tonight. Her friend Bianca will be coming out with us, as well.

I met her my second day here and she's cool, so far. She models for a living and she's very good at it. She's just visiting as well.

"Y'all ready to go?"

"Yea, V. You called the Uber?" I asked.

"Yea, they're outside that's why I asked. Bi, hit that light over there for me."

We headed out and I sent Dave my location. Just in case anything happens tonight, he was my back up.

I explained to him earlier that it was a Girls night out and that I'd hang with him tomorrow. He didn't mind anyway because he had his daughter for the night. I haven't met her yet, but I do adore his relationship with her. Something I hoped my husband and kids would have in the future.

We got to the club and it was turnt already. The DJ was playing all the hits and we were drinking all the shots. I didn't wanna get too wasted tho because I'm in a new state and didn't feel right to be getting drunk out here.

"Hey, how are you?" I heard, after feeling a tap on my shoulder. Y'all, this man is so damn fine. Omg...chocolate is my weakness.

"Hi, I'm good."

"My name is Dmitri. What's yours, beautiful?"

"My name is Tima. Nice to meet you."

"You from here?" He asked.

"Nahh, I'm just visiting my friend. I'm on vacation. How about you?"

"Same as well. I'm in the military, so I'm traveling a lot lately."

"Oh okay. I'm a college student." I said.

"That's dope. When you graduating?"

"In a few months actually. Then, I'm gonna open my own business. Maybe out here, soon," I explained to him. We were literally having a whole conversation in the middle of the club.

"That's great. Really, I like a woman with goals," he said, making me blush.

"Thanks."

"So, can I get ya number? I'd like to take you out before I leave this city," he said. He slid his phone to me and I typed in my info.

"See ya."

"See ya. That's me calling you."

"Alright."

I turned back towards Vena and Bianca. Bianca was wasted and Vena was looking directly at me.

"Bitch, what?"

"I see ya, girl. That man was tooooo fine."

"Yeas he was, sis. Ugh, I'm not trynna rush into nothing tho, ya know," I said more to myself than her.

"I get it. Just don't let ya past mistakes mess up a good thing you may have here."

"Okay Dr. Vena." We laughed and continued to turn up.

We left the club and headed back to Vena's house. We had to help drunk ass Bianca. Which was annoying as hell.

This is why I didn't wanna get drunk. It's in the way and messy.

When we got her upstairs, we laid her on the couch and have her some water. We gave her a blanket and went in the back to go to sleep.

I texted Dave letting him know I was safe and everything went alright. He liked my message and I went to sleep.
