Angie tilted her head, looking at me innocently. "Huh? Is there a problem Kokichi?" she asked. I placed my hands on my hips, tapping my foot.
"Gee, I don't know Angie. You're an artist right? What's wrong with this picture right now?" I asked, gesturing to the current scene. Angie blinked, then looked around the room. Everyone watched her, waiting.
"Gonta's tie is crooked?" Angie said. "Huh? It is!" Gonta cried, looking at his tie and fixing it.
"Wrong!" I stated. I walked over to her as she slowly stood up to look at me. "The problem, Angie, is your damn obsession with this 'Atua' guy. I mean, your using his name as an excuse to cheat at a board game! Can't you see that?" I asked.
"First of all, I am not cheating. I am only following Atua's will. Second, is it not wrong for a follower to be so loyal to their god?" Angie asked.
"Except you are abusing his so called 'power'. You can't use a god as an excuse to do whatever you want. That's truly greedy." I stated. That made Angie frown, eyes narrowing at me. "I am not greedy, and Atua knows it. That is why he has blessed me for so many years." she stated. I plopped into a nearby chair.
"Really? Tell me, has he really blessed you? Has he really been helping you all this time?" I asked.
"You dare doubt Atua's power?!" Angie said harshly, raising her voice, causing the other to jump. "Yeah, I do actually. In fact, I bet he hasn't done any real shit for you." I stated. "And your proof?" Angie said.
"Okay, for example, if Atua was a real god, wouldn't he have found some way for us to get out of here by now? We've definitely been here for about two weeks, and nothing has happened." I stated.
"Ah, Atua has spoken to me about that. He says that if we abandon all hope of escape, we shall live peacefully in the academy. No one shall be harmed." Angie stated.
"Don't escape!" Tenko and Himiko said. Gonta stood up. "Gonta want to escape! Gonta want to leave with all friends!" he stated.
"It is those very thoughts that will poison our minds. We must accept our new fate and our new home." Angie said. "D-Do we really have to stay here?" Himiko asked. "Yeah, I'd like to get out of here somehow!" Tenko stated. I sighed, leaning back in the chair with my arms behind my neck.
"Huh, sounds like Atua doesn't give two shits about us if he's too lazy to help us." I said. Angie shot a glare at me.
"You had better watch your mouth, Kokichi. Atua will rain his wrath down upon you!" she said.
"Uh-huh, doubt it." I said.
"Just watch, you'll regret the things your saying." Angie stated. I smirked, sitting up. "Then why doesn't he shut me up now? Why doesn't he stop me in anyway?" I asked. I stood up.
"You hear me, Atua~? I think your a giant stupid head that is too lazy to get off your ass and help us! You're nothing but a large couch potato, lounging around in the clouds high above us! If I'm starting to piss you off, feel free to shut me up at any given time!" I called. Angie looked beyond angry, glaring daggers at me.
"That is enough Kokichi-"
"Shh! I wanna hear his response." I said, putting a hand to my ear and waiting. Moments passed, and nothing happened, and nothing could be heard. Not a single shout. A single sentence. Not even a single whisper.
"Not mad are ya? Huh, I could only imagine why." I said, looking to Angie with a smug expression.
"That is enough! I've had it with your squabbling! Atua demands that you leave this room at once!" Angie stated. "Atua is the one that wants me to leave, huh," I said, leaning against an art easel, which had a sheet draped over it, "Well if he wants me to leave so badly, he'll have to meet me face to face and kick my ass- GAH!" The art easel leaned forward, causing me to fall back.
