Chapter 45

JK's POV:

"What the..." I groaned as Jin's voice got louder and louder along with the banging on the door.

"Whhhyyy..." I mumbled as I felt Taehyung start to shift next to me.

"Kook. The door..."

"I know." I uttered.

"Coming! Stop banging the door hyung!" I yelled at the closed door. The banging stopped instantly. I looked down to find Taehyung scowling at me.

"Did you have to yell right in my ear?"

I grinned at his annoyed face. His hair was dishevelled, a result of sleeping with wet hair and a few more rounds of sex following our short nap after the eventful shower. His lower lip looked like it had been gnawed by a dog or a wolf...

I snickered.

"What?" He stopped mid yawn to look at me.

"You should avoid mirrors today."

"Huh?" His eyes narrowed at me. "You idiot! What did you do?!"

He started to push me away and I tumbled back onto the bed. Taehyung got up and walked to the full-length mirror while I found myself counting the number of bite marks on his back.

"Jungkook! My lips!"

"Ummm..." My attention was pulled to the glaring eyes staring at me through the mirror.

"It was dark?" I mumbled.

"It was dark?! Look at me! Shit! I'm never letting you come near me again! You asshole!"

"What?!" I shot up into a sitting position as he stomped towards the bathroom. Before I could even untangle myself from the sheets, he had slammed the door shut.

"Tae!" I called out to him.

"Never again Jeon Jungkook! Look at my back!"

"Jungkook open the door! I have been here for half an hour already!"

I took a deep breath at the overlapping yells and decided to deal with Jin hyung first. I looked around and grabbed a pair of shorts discarded on the floor.

"Yes, hyung?"

Jin hyung glared and rolled his eyes, "Why did you take so long?"

I opened my mouth, but he cut me off, "Never mind! I heard what happened. Get to Joon's office right away. Important meeting."

I stared at him.

"What part didn't you understand?"

"Important? Meeting? We literally just got the WPC off our backs not even 24 hours ago and there's an important meeting again?"

"It's almost noon Kookie! The meeting has been going on for hours already! We decided to let you two sleep in a little since we were sure you had been celebrating all night long."

My ears started burning and I quickly turned my back to Jin hyung pretending to look for a shirt.

"Right. Right. I'm going..."

"Good." I heard the smirk in his voice but chose to ignore it.

Once I found a shirt, I knocked on the bathroom door again, "Tae? Joon hyung needs me. I'll be in his office."

I didn't get a reply, so I just heaved a sigh and turned to leave.

I love you. I whispered through the mate bond.
