i tried begging my job back... but they said the managers were too many.

after weeks of job seeking, i found an opening for a new company, J.L.P.E. a great company i may say, they have a good reputation-
if compared to other companies.
this was a good chance, a good company, a new life. i rarely made a penny from last year working for S.M.L. now this company offers twice what the other one did.
after applying and getting an interview
i passed the job application stage, now the waiting game starts. its been roughly two days since i last heard from JLPE.
while i was eating my late night dinner at a near by 7/eleven, i received a call. it was the company!
i quickly let go of my chopsticks and took the call.
call
agent: Hello?
you: Yes?
totally acting clueless
agent: Am I speaking to Y/N?
you: Ah. Yes, Sir. To what do I owe this pleasure?
wow, fancy.
agent: Yes- I'm calling to inform you about your progress in the Job Application in our company.
here it is........
agent: Congratulations, you were selected by the department.
yeah! i punched the air in excitement, still on the call in silent.
agent: We'll email you about your first day, I'll hang up now.
he hung up, i didn't even get to say thank you. i'm a bad employee, even before my first day.
