THIRD PERSON

Tulala si Doreen habang nakatingin sa kawalan. She just saw how her grandfather died. She can't hear anything and her world just stopped. She couldn't feel the tears overflowing on her face. She feals so numb right now.

Lumapit si Kiarissa na nakangisi sa kanyang Hari."See what you did to her, my love?" Kiarissa whispered into Kael. Suddenly, he woke up in a trance. Kael opened his eyes and so how dreadful is the place he is standing on. There's a dead man and lots of daemon are cheering. Then he.remembered what happened. Nakaramdam siya ng takot. Tumingin si Kael kay Doreen and saw her running away.

Doreen.. what have I done?

He said in his thoughts.

"She will never like you anymore." Bulong ni Kiarissa sa kanya then she whispered something that made the King cold again.

DOREEN'S POV

Walang humpay ang takbo ko sa kagubatan habang umiiyak. I want to get out of here. I want to get out of this place.

They killed my innocent grandfather.. they are murderers! Same with man I almost fell in love with. He is a murderer and I loathe him so much. I loathe them all!

I know the guards are chasing me pero wala akong balak magpahuli sa kanila. I want to get rid of this place. I want to get away.

Umiiyak ako habang tumatakbo. No one can describe how painful it is to see your beloved family died in your front. Ang sakit-sakit. Hindi ko na kaya. My heart is in so much pain.

How can I survive now? Nawalan na ako ng pag-asang mamuhay.

Lourdes

Tumigil ako sa pagtakbo ng maalala ang pangalang iyon. She said that if I call her, she will be in my aid.

"Lourdes!!!" Sigaw ko.

"Lourdes!!!" Tinakpan ko ang aking bibig dahil sa aking paghikbi but it didn't stop me from calling her name.

"Milady," I saw Lourdes' sad eyes. Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit. Humikbi ako ng humikbi sa kanyang bisig.

"L-lourdes.. t-take me out of here.."

Umalis siya sa pagkakayakap at kaagad na sumilip sa buong paligid at mabilis akong hinila.

"Castle guards are approaching. Let's go."

Nakarating kami sa isang maliit na kubo sa itaas ng puno. Inabutan niya ako ng panyo at ng tubig.

"May kapalit ang hinihingi mo saakin, Doreen." Panimula niya. "Ito lang ang tanging mundo na hindi ka mahahagilap ng mga daemons. If you will go back to your world, its like you are bringing a war to them at alam kong ayaw mong magkagulo ang mundong kinagisnan mo lalo na't may sakit na dinadala ang kapatid mo."

"W-wala akong ginto ni isa.." sabi ko. Umiling siya at inayos ang buhok ko na nagkalat sa aking mukha.

"Hindi ginto, Doreen." Uminom ako ng tubig bago magtanong sa kanya.

"Why help me, Lourdes?" Ngumiti siya ng pilit.

"I am actually a spirit, Doreen. I no longer exist. It means, I'm already dead. But before I die, I saw you in my dreams and you need help. I don't want to help yiu actually but you remind me of my daughter Mercedes." There is a longing in her eyes and in her smile. "I will bring you to her, Doreen. Gagawin ko muna ang enkantasyon. Mamayang gabi ay makakaalis ka na. Why don't you take a good rest first?"

Iginiya niya ako sa maliit na kama. Humiga ako at ipinikit ang mga mata ko.

Sa sobrang pagod at dami ng iniisip ay nakatulog rin ako kaagad na hindi nagtagal.
