THIRD PERSON

"LINUS! HIJO! Bakit ngayon ka lang? Kinidnap si Doreen!"

Kakauwi lang ni Linus pero ang magulong tahanan ang kanyang nadatnan pati ang matandang iyak ng iyak. He already knows what happened based on the mess. And if his calculation is right, Kael came and took Doreen yesterday. Inihiga niya ang buhat-buhat niyang dalaga sa sofa.

"I'll call my brother."

Tinawagan niya ang kapatid. Good thing his brother pick up the call.

"I have a plan. This may be risky but I hope it'll work." He said after Vonefort picked the call. This is the firat time they talked after the last time Vonefort thought he lost Linus' mate.

"What is it?" Vonefort asked.

"I'll bring this woman in exchange of Doreen." Linus said. Natigilan naman ang kausap niya.

"Wait I'm lost. Doreen's there? H-how? And what woman?"

Linus explained everything from Doreen coming in the mortal world until the time Kael was desperate to get her. Explaining everything makes Linus livid. He is controlling himself but his daemon blood is overpowering him again. Kael, getting Doreen, makes him grit anger.

I have to focus.

"So you mean to say that Kael got her? It means that she's already in the castle? Since when?"

"Maybe yesterday."

"And you let that happen? When she's in your care? Well, you have to hurry. It'll take you many days to get your ass here! No one knows what will he do to Doreen."

"I know."

"When do you plan to leave?"

Saglit na nag-isip si Linus but he's determined. Doreen, getting the pin, makes his work a little easier but it scared him to death. He will get Doreen back to his arm. He will get her at all cost.

"Now."

"Then I'll see you soon, brother."

After the call, he went straight up to Aling Mena who's taking care of the lady who lost consciousness.

"Hijo, sino ang babaeng ito?" Tanong ni Aling Mena. "Paano na si Doreen?" Halata ang labis na pag-aalala ng matanda kay Doreen.

"Don't worry. I'll get her back." Mabilis niyang binuhat ang walang malay na dalaga.

The portal to the other world is not far from his home. It may take them five minutes to enter the other world but its different when it comes to the time in the other world. A five minute walk from the mortal world inside the portal is equivalent to 3 days in the other world. Time is different in both worlds.

After crossing, Vonefort and his carriage is there to pick them up.

"I'll help you carry her." Vonefort initiated. Coming here in this world where he grew up gives him the nostalgic feeling. He kinda missed the place.

"Let's go." He said.

Doreen, I'm going to get you. Just wait.

DOREEN'S POV

Run.

Escape.

Those are the words running in my mind as I dressed up as a maid. My hands are shaking in fear but I have to escape no matter what it costs.
