We get back at 10pm. Let's just say that Jack is the slowest eater you'll ever meet.

"Has Nash texted?" Molly asks. I open my phone and nod to her.

(N= Nash, I= Indigo)

N: hey ind, I had a really great time today :)

I: me too! I'm actually quite proud of myself.

N: why because you got to make out with me?

I: I was gonna say because I managed to deal with you for that long but whatever floats your boat.

N: I just can't stop thinking about you :)

I: I'm quite unforgettable Hamilton

N: why did I ever tell you my actual name?

I: because you love me ;)

N: eh I guess :) so anyway, I get back in 10 days.

I: thanks, I'll mark it on my calendar

N: you're so unfunny! I was thinking we could go on a proper date when o get back?

I: what so making out wasn't good enough for you? I'm hurt Nashley. :(

N: no it was better that good enough- it was fab! I just thought that I should let you know that I'm not in this for sex or kissing- I do like you Indigo.

N: I really love you.

I: love?

N: shit, autocorrect is a bitch! I meant really like :)

I: I like you too

N: so you'll go out with me again?

I: I don't know- I'll see if I can fit you in sometime.

I: I've got a very busy schedule

N: does that mean watching TV all day everyday

I: maybe ;)

I: and yes. I would love to go out with you again.

N: yay! I should go- gotta get up early.

I: night Nash! Hope you have a safe flight :)

N: night! I'll text you when I land. Cool?

I: yup

I: wait one more thing

N: anything

I: are you and Anna back together? Because Jack said that you were

N: no! Do you really think I'd date you if I was Anna's boyfriend again?

I: okay :) just checking! Night x

N: night x

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" Molly asks appearing from upstairs, already changed into her pyjamas.

"Sure!"

"It most likely won't end the way it did with Nash"

"Thank the Lord for that"

"We've got: blended, if I stay, maze runner or the giver?"

"Maze runner all the way"

"Of course- Dylan O'Brien is the definition of hot" she giggles "I'll get drinks and popcorn; you get changed" She says going into the kitchen.

I run upstairs and put on the outfit I was planning to wear earlier- the baggy t shirt and yoga shorts. I run back downstairs to be greeted by Katherine.

"Hi mrs- I mean Katherine" I smirk

"Hi indie" that's the first time she's ever called me that.

"Hey mom- we're watching maze runner. Wanna join?"

"I'd love to! Let me just change into something more comfortable" she smiles going upstairs.

"Okay I'm here" Katherine says sitting down on the couch next to Molly. They're sat on one couch and I'm on another. "Oh wait, I told Jack to join us. We never do anything as a family anymore."

A few seconds later Jack comes down into the living room. He looks around the room. He realises that there's only one seat left and sighs heavily, eventually sitting next to me. What's his problem?
The movie starts and I'm hooked immediately. Jack on the other hand is glued to his phone.
Halfway into the movie, Jack starts to sob next to me.

"What's up?" I whisper, trying not to disturb Katherine and Molly.

"Meg dumped me" he sniffs "not that you'd care"

"Of course I care if you're upset"

"I really liked her. I know I may not have shown it but I did"

"Why'd she dump you?"

"Said she's moving on to bigger and better things"

"Of course she is" I say under my breath.

"Sorry I've been such a dick Indie. I guess Meg got inside my head and I didn't like the fact that you rejected me"

"It's okay. I'm sorry too. Come here" I say opening my arms. He hugs me back and we shift so that we are lying on the sofa- like in the painting.
