Why do my bedsheets smell like sweat and guilt?
Why are Beej and (Y/N) not here?
Why has it been an hour since they messaged the group chat?
Something is up and I'm going to get to the bottom of it.
This is my ship, and I'll be damned if I don't get to be on board when it sails.
Finally, the door opens.
"And where have you two been for the past hour?"
"Lunch?" They said it almost in sync.
"A believable story." I raise my eyebrow at them dramatically.
They get the joke and start laughing a bit, though I did notice they seemed to relax a bit more when they knew I wasn't serious.
