"Ah that's what I like to hear, y/n! How's the head by the way?" She asks scanning over you once more like an actual worried mother.

"I'm okay!" You spoke smiling brightly keeping your gaze on missy who had escaped to the other side of the room.

"Hey doc! I'm thinking that I wanna go home for a few!" Yaz spoke sounding more off a question when she spotted the doctors face fall.

"Yeah yeah that's fine!" She exclaimed hiding her disappointment. You smirked watching her hug Yaz tightly, you noticed the other guys stifling a laugh.

"Yeah we're gunnu head of too" Graham said finally speaking up after the girls spilt.

She gave them one last look before prancing around the tardis.

You and the doctor waved as the tardis stopped in Sheffield letting the gang walk of in their own directions. Missy had disappeared down the corridor quietly.

"So you too y/n?" The doctor spoke focusing intently at Yaz as she walked away.

"No" she snapped her gaze at you as you spoke. "I think I'll stay around." You mumbled stepping further into the tardis. You couldn't see her but you could sense the massive smile on her face.

"And it gives us chance to talk" you instantly groaned loudly as she spoke. Then you smirked evilly, this was your chance to ask her what the hell was happening with her and Yaz.

"Yeah okay! What's happening with you and Yaz?" You asked emotionlessly.

That caused her to stop dead in her track and start to stutter. " nothing, I mean we.. were just.. friends... yeah friends." She cleared her throat looking away.

"Doctor come on I know you. You liiikkkkeeeee heeeerr!" You chuckled, twirling around the console.

"Just like you love missy! Ha!" She snapped. You rose your arms in surrender smirking at her red face. 

"No but seriously doctor she is in to you!" You said patting her back before walking and jumping onto the sofa under the console.

She popped her head under the console. "She does!" She exclaimed. You burst out giggling at her desperation.

"Well yeah, your just obviously not paying enough attention." You said getting comfy on the sofa with your legs up. You hear her shuffle above you before she made her way downstairs.

You laughed as she paced in front of you. "Doctor come on its right in front of you!" You spoke, talking about yazs feelings.

you hadn't felt this happy in a while of course you had memories with Vastra, Jenny, strax and even some with river but you hadn't been able just to joke around with the doctor and it felt really good.

You just sat there smiling like an idiot as the doctor moved your legs to place herself next to you. You turned around to face her laughing as she turned bright red talking about Yaz.

"Are you okay with this?" She asked. You furrowed you're eyebrows in confusion.

"What with you and Yaz? Yeah I'm cool with it, why?"

"River" she whispered turning away.

"Oh" you paused. "Mums gone doctor. She's an echo so she's basically got to deal with it!" You spoke softly trying to catch her gaze.

It took moments until the doctors mood swing changed and she was back to her normal buzzing self. You took that as a okay I like Yaz face.

"So y/n, we need to talk about the kidnapping memories" she spoke softly taking your hands comfortly. You rolled your eyes shuffling back a bit. "Doctor it was the planet makes you believe all crazy things" you lied through your teeth not wanting to talk about it.

"Y/n please." She pleaded. You sighed thinking it was time to fess up.

"Well for what I can remember is I was taken to Vastra and Jenny when I was 7 but I don't remember anything from before." You smiled sadly.

"That's normal for children y/n!" She spoke squeezing Your hands.

"It is but when I asked river or Vastra why I wasn't taken straight away they tense and change the topic!" You breathed our heavily.

She looked confused then angry. "Well maybe I could talk to Vastra" she spoke quickly getting up in A rush. You didn't process it straight away and when you caught up with her she was already out the doors.
