First words

You were all sat around the sofa. Yazs mum and dad sat far away from you all but Sonya had decided she wanted to sit next to you and often gave you not so subtle look over. You kept the car seat between your feet and ignored her looks. The boys were playing a board game on the kitchen table with Yaz who looked out of it staring out the window, you looked down in guilt you knew she was hurting being away from the doctor this long. You decided to break the silence, "so how long do we have to stay here?" You asked sounding much more harsher than you intended.

"No one can leave their houses, your have to stay here until it all blows over" yazs mum said.

"And exactly how long is that going to be?" You pushed, settling incubus dummy in his mouth again.

"I don't know.. a month" she whispered turning away.

"A month?" You sighed falling back on the sofa. "I can get out your way. my house Is only around the corner." You suggested

"We would feel better if you stayed here, your yazs friends after all" the dad smiled softly

Yazs mum got up suddenly. "Oh that reminds me I'll get the rooms together, are you boys alright to share?" She asked pointing towards Ryan and Graham in which Graham gives a small thumbs up. "Great"

"So what's their name?"

"Huh?" You asked looking over at Sonya who was leaning into your personal space. You chuckled shuffling back on the sofa. "Oh this is incubus, my fiancé is- Uh.."

"Their having a break so cut it out" Yaz groans slapping Sonya's arm and plopping herself between you both despite sonya's annoyance.

"Yeah break" you whispered to yourself still beating yourself up about how you hurt her But she had no reason to give up on the doctor so easily. You sighed placing your head in your hand which earned Yaz to rub your back and lean in to whisper in your ear.

"Don't worry we're find the doctor... and missy" she gulped seeming unsure how that would make you feel- it made you sigh louder and lift your head up. The boys smiled shyly before saying goodnight and leaving the room.

Soon after everyone went to bed but you and incubus who was cradled in your arms staring widely at you in amazement. "How you do that?" You whispered placing a kiss on his forehead. "Always seeing the best in people aye?" You chuckled watching him open his mouth.

"Dada"

"Oh you did not!" You squealed. "Your first words. Missy is going to be so jealous.. Ah. I did it again, I forget she's not here" you frowned looking around the dimly lit Room, you knew you were alone but you would do anything for missy to pop out of the shadows even if it was some assassination- you would still fall on your knees and beg her to stay.
