Stranger

"Y/n, you can't just lock yourself away it's been three weeks" the doctor sighed on the other side of the door.

You got up throwing on your overcoat, taking a look in the mirror; your eyes were much darker and dull, there was no sparkle in them anymore since missy left. Your life was falling apart you wouldn't eat or do your normal routine that you hid from everyone which you knew wasn't healthy.

"Yes Doctor?" You asked pulling the door open. The doctor just stood there with a shocked expression since you hadn't spoke since that day.

"Y/n? Are you okay?" She asked carefully scanning you over. You fiddled with your pockets waiting for her shock to roll over.

"So adventure?" You smiled sweetly walking to the console.

"Y/n wait!" The doctor exclaimed.

"Like you said too long in that room I want planets!" You yelled in excitement speaking faster than normal.

You span around the console room, letting your fingers roam over the controls, you could hear the tardis hum in excitement at your soft touch.

"Hey! Y/n your up and about?" Graham asked Impressed by your appearance as he made his way in with Ryan and Yaz in tow.

"What's up, man? Your up, watch out world the gangs back together!" Ryan roared in excitement hugging you. You smiled as he let go.

"Yeah it's nice to have you back, y/n" Yaz smiled. She thought for a moment before taking you into a hug too. It was rather awkward on your side but you wanted this to all blow over so you melted into it. 

"Right so adventure?" The doctor asked awkwardly.

"Yep I want action! Oh stars no planets Oooh give us a Galaxy" You rambled on making everyone look at you in curiosity. You weren't yourself.

"Calm down there y/n" Graham chuckled.

"I got something I've wanted to show you guys!" The doctor exclaimed already pulling down the lever and bringing the tardis Alive.

"Come on!" You shouted rushing out the doors before the doctor could even respond.

It was definitely beautiful, the scenery stretched for miles filled with purple trees and fast peacock like birds with long tongues. The sun hit your face warming up your cheeks as you smile immensely.

"The sentient nebulae of blecplam two and a half, it's lovely seeing it through new eyes." The doctor pointed out as the sun set quickly revealing a litter of stars in the sky.

"Hey doc, if that's sentient doesn't that mean we're basically watching a massacre?" Yaz asked shocked tugging slightly on the doctors coat to gain her attention.

"Oh no not all all, those flashes of light and sound and colour. That's a lifetime you're seeing. And oh Yaz it is brilliant!" She squeals like an excited child wrapping her arms around Yaz. You smile not realising how close they actually were but you were definitely happy for them. You hoped after all that time locked away in your room that they actually talked about their feelings because it was becoming dull to watch them discard it all the time.

"It's beautiful doc-"

"Sorry to interrupt doctor but you might want to look at this!" Graham yells snapping all of your gazes over to a bright light appearing from the trees.

The doctor already marched over scanning it.

"Doctor be careful" Yaz Warned, grabbing her free hand.

"Is it dangerous?" You asked but your question was answered when a strange hand appeared. you instantly grabbed it as the portal groaned. It seemed like they were stuck on the other side so you gave it your best pull.

"Y/n!" The doctor yelled as you fell to the ground with the hand and the remains of the body too crumbled on top of you. "Ah brilliant!"

"Hey, you okay?" Ryan asked helping the woman up from your fall.

"Yeah don't worry about me!" You yelled getting up yourself. You dusted yourself up, looking over a the woman who held a very serious face and blue eyes that flickered between you all.

"When you said dangerous, I thought more alieny. It's just a woman!" Graham chuckled ignoring you.

"Well women can be dangerous, Graham!" The doctor whispered to Graham. She finally turned to the woman "hiya, I'm the doctor, this is Yaz, Ryan, graham and y/n. You got yourself in a bit of a mess" she scanned her over. "Well that's odd"

"What's odd doctor?" You asked standing beside her as you all circled around the poor woman.

"Your vortex manipulator is broken" she muttered taking the woman's arm to show you all the device on her wrist. The woman snatched her arm away which caused the doctor to put her arms up in surrender.

"Isn't that the thing y/n used to save us that one time?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah, ugly primitive time travel device." The doctor chuckled.

"Hey it least it uses stabilisers!" You joked.

"Don't ev-"

"You hear that?" Yaz butts in causing you to all say quiet. You could register a tromping sound along the ground.

"You are prisoners!" The creatures with guns demand circling you all. The woman stayed quiet like normal.

"We are here in.... investigation
Under the authority of ... of" Yaz turned to all looking for suggestions to lie your way out of this.

"We're time cops!" Ryan shouted, pointing at one of the foot soldiers.

"Yeah great one" you sniggered.

"True justice is not bound but the constraints of Time!" The guard spoke.

"Oh great!" You sighed softly.

You all found yourself stuck in a cell. You turned to the woman who hadn't spoke a single word yet, "what's your name?" You asked causing her to jump a little at your voice.

"Lilith" she smiled, putting her hand up for you to shake.

"Y/n"

"How you end up here?" You asked feeling curious.

"Ugh I was travelling and I wanted to get home. The stupid thing broke and got stuck between two destinations, then somehow I was stuck in the portal in which you saved me from. Thank you" she spoke smiling widely.

The doctor clapped her hand causing you all to look her way. "Right let's get out of here! Oh great it's wood!"

Everyone looked around for different ways out but of course there wasn't much to go on. The doctor paced around she was getting into one of her bored moods.

"Or you could just try the door!" Lilith explained pulling the door widely and giving you a wink.

"Oh she's good!" You chuckled following her out.
