"Y/n there you are. How'd it go? What happened?" Yaz jumped up when you both entered.

"Did you get rid of it?" Ryan asked.

"Not quite." The doctor spoke small still giving you an unusual look.

"How much not quite?" Yaz ignored the doctors staring.

"Not at all. Slightly riled it and let it get away. Found some information though" she whispered the last bit but of course you picked up on it letting go of the doctors hand.

"What?" Ryan asked flicking his gaze back and forth.

"And now it's in a tank, trying to summon the fleet." The doctor sighs loudly.

"Doctor!" Yaz groans.

"All right! Don't go on about it. I know. They're really persistent. How you feeling, Lin?" She sets the Tardis flying causing you to fling to the nearest pillar.

"Er, shaky." She groans holding her head.

"I'm not surprised. You will for a while. But you kept fighting it. Y/n? My room top self. Blue box please!" The doctor asks. You take of leaving the phone to ring.

"Hey tardis help me out?" You sigh losing your way. She hums under your touch.

"Thanks" you speak as the doctors room comes into view.

You open her room and of course you weren't suprised by the yellow paint splattered on her walls. Various pictures of old companions scattered across the room. Old bookshelf's hung high filled with books older than yourself.

You shook your head focusing back on task. You made your way over to the shelf taking a look round with your hands as they felt a range of different things some even prickly. You gasped feeling a sharp object prick your finger.

You reached again before collecting the pills. You sighed in achievement but stumbled back into a lever. The room shakes removing a wall upwards revealing a secret room. " sneaky doctor!" You exclaimed sucking your bleeding finger and shaking it dramatically.

You took a look round confused at first glance. There were mountains of photographs of you stringed around like a detectives lair. Various words scattered your pictures such as 'who' And 'DANGER?'.  Your hand brushed against files labelled under confidential, which of course wouldn't keep you out. It contained a copy out your birth certificate, medical records which of course you didn't want anyone to know. You knew you were a mess and maybe that's why the doctor never trusted you.

"Wow I love your confidence on me doc!" You whispered taking one look before leaving feeling nauseous.

You made your way back into the control room clutching the pills.  "Found 'em" you declared throwing them at her. She catches them with ease passing them to lin. You noticed that Graham and Aaron had appeared.

"We're you been. You've been a while?" The doctor asks looking curiously at your finger As you suck it.

"Aye well lots of clutter you've got Doctor!" You snap feeling a sudden anger at the doctor. Why was she spying on you for a start.

"Alright was just asking anyway GCHQ!" She smiles taking the tardis' controls in her hands.

You all pile out. "Don't shoot!" She throws her hands up in surrender.

"Exterminate!" The energy blast illuminates a forcefield around the Tardis. You chuckle.

"Do you think I'm daft enough to stand here without shields?"

"Hide behind your shield, Doctor, you and your human friends. You have failed. Now hand over the child" the gang looks at the doctor in confusion but you just keep your mouth shut. "Signal activation in nine rels. The fleet shall be summoned."

"No, it won't. No matter how many times you try, no matter how long you wait, I'll always be in your way, backed up by the best of humanity. Now, final, final, final warning, cos I'm nice. I really do try my best. Stop the signal, get off this planet." She shouted.

"You are not my commander."

"I tried. You heard me, right? I tried! I gave it a chance." She looks at you all with a desperate gaze.

"Yeah."
"Yep."
"You did."
"Yeah sweetie, you did"
"Guess so" the doctor looks at you in disbelief.

"I'm fast enough, right? I'm fast enough for this plan?" You scrunch up your face "Well, that one needs work. Here's a New Year message for you to send. Earth is protected by me and my mates, this year and every other. Here we go!" She sonicks off the forcefield and runs to your left while the others go right leaving you to be pulled by Ryan's hand to safety.

"Exterminate the Doctor! The Doctor must be destroyed!" It's slow Not noticing the doctor as She slides up behind the Dalek.

"Now, gang!" Your pulled to The opposite side of the dalek.

"Do not approach! None of you will survive!" You all manhandle the Dalek around.

"Aim the gun at the servers!"

"Weaponry malfunctioning!"

"Now attach the parts!" Ryan let's go of your hand as he attaches parts to the dalek.

"Weapon failure!"

"Get clear!" The doctor warns dragging you away. You scrunch up your face, she always does it.

"What is on my casing?" It's casing is glowing red.

"The Custodians burned your shell, and we've got something they didn't have. A nicely designed portable combination oven. Transformers, primary and secondary coils, going from high voltage, low ampage to low voltage, very, very high ampage" The red reaches its dome and melts it as the doctor speaks still holding on to your hand. She finally lets go.

"Get down!" There's a Bang! Then a Dalek gurgle. You notice that There is a big hole in the front of the casing and the eye stalk is drooping at a very sick angle.

"Is it dead?" Aaron asks The Doctor scans the bunker with you behind her back.

"Signal never sent. I think that was my best skid ever. I'm so chuffed. Well done, team. Gang. Son. Extended fam."

Dalek gurgles again.

"Dad?" Ryan asks causing you to all look at Aaron.

The Dalek has commandeered Aaron's body. Fuck no you thought. "You underestimate me, Doctor. Daleks survive."

"Doctor, do something!" Ryan commanded.

"I'm sorry, Aaron. I miscalculated." She gives him a sympathetic smile.

"You will take me to the Dalek fleet. Resist and this body will be destroyed."

"Doctor, do something." Ryan repeated getting in the doctors face.

"Fine." She muttered.

"Doctor, seriously? What's the plan?" You ask forcing your way out of her grip.

"My decision. Whatever you want. Just promise me you'll let him go." She grits her teeth together.

"You are my prisoners now." He smirks.
